And swallow you!

Had this exact feeling last night, whilst at my favorite club, I saw someone I used to work with!

Don't know who was more embarrassed! We both chatted and laughed about it, but honestly didn't feel at all comfortable being there, which was a shame as there was soo many friends there.

Laughing to myself about it this morning, putting it down to experience! Haha

You were both there for similar reasons so no harm done. I can sympathise because i would feel awkward in that situation too

If you're on the scene long enough, this WILL happen to everybody. More people are into this scene than you think and it's inevitable that you will bump into someone you know. They are there for the same reason and will want discretion too, so laughing it off is the best way forward and carry on!

I am on the Townhouse desk most weekends and the amount of people I know who walk in, is unbelievable! If I see someone I know walking towards the club on the cctv outside, I will get someone else to book them in and then go around the counter to chat in private to them and reassure them. I will usually show them around the club personally so they don't feel weird.

Look at all of the millions of people on this site, I bet there are more people out there that you know! Laugh it off and move on xxx

Easier said than done though

It's complicated, wont go into details but I now feel very ashamed of being in such a place, as much as I love it there and the people are great.

Why? You've as much right to be there as she does unless you're married and she knows your wife?

That's something you will have to deal with but if its in any way connected to what you say in your profile there is no need to be ashamed.

No one accidentally finds themselves in a swingers club

After the initial embarrassment and shock you shouldn't really worry as you're all there for the same thing

After reading these messages I thought I should put my say in....

Yes it was a shock to see you there on Friday, I was embarrassed too, but and I repeat BUT ..

What people get up to in their spare time is of no concern of mine, we were there to have fun and fun I had, what we do doesn't change us as people, so please there is no need to feel ashamed or awkward, you were a good friend and nothing changes that.....

Your secret is safe with me as I hope mine is with you....

After the shock it was nice to catch up xxx

was good to see you again too.

Well we are all human I suppose and what we do in our spare time is only our own business.

Secrets are safe and will stay where they belong

Bristol Area

Hehe, was in a house party once, and heard a voice I recognised from the hallway outside. Yep, was a friend of mine. Neither of us was surprised that the other was there, but we ended up just chatting all night rather than actually meeting other people. DOH!

All sorted now, and we can both enjoy having fun without the need to run and hide.

Just wasn't expecting to see her there, came as a big shock! Haha
