We'll be visiting Munich at the beginning of September, and have read that slacks are required for men. Of course she will be in a sexy skirt with tall heels which can open any door. How strict will these clubs be for me if I'm smartly dressed with jeans?
Also, an suggestions on clubs would be appreciated. |

While we have never visited a club in Munich we have been to dozens of other clubs in Germany and the dress code is usually quite strict when it comes to what they call "street wear"
On entrance most clubs give you a locker key and require women to change into "sexy/erotic" and men into tight fitting briefs/boxers etc.
Let us know the name of the club and we will check it out in German for you.
From our experience jeans would be a no go. |

its a given that unless it says jeans and trainers are permitted do not wear them
Smart trousers and a shirt and decent shoes are always the way to go
Obviously anywhere you go new it's best to ring ahead to warn them and they can inform the door staff to give you a tour and as its a foreign country they may make sure some one is available to help with speaking

European clubs in general tend to be strict, but Germany are very strict and even if they are an immediate dress down club, they still require you to arrive smart.
We are off to Germany again in December and hitting the clubs; can't wait!! You will love the German club experience xxx |

The German equivalent of Fab is Joy Club. Although it is in German I am told that Google chrome has a translate function. You could possibly check out clubs and dress code in advance that way. When I visited 2 clubs in Berlin men had to wear smart and clean underwear i.e designer trunks or a 'sexy outfit' think latex or rubber shorts. |

Which club are you going to?
Most clubs are a little "out of town" so when I visit and am constrained by late night public transport, I tend to stick to a club in the town centre (well, a 5 minute walk from the main railway station anyway)
Try http://www.adel-muenchen.de/ - it's different from most other clubs. I don't think that there are strict rules about jeans, but I always think that there is only one chance to make a first impression, so make your own mind up how you want that to go...
A swingers club built around the basis of a porn cinema as opposed to a disco or health spa. For €15-€17 per couple including 4 complimentary drinks how can you go wrong? You can go there first, as early as you like and if you don't like it, try one of the other clubs.
I've always found it to be busy and fun with lots of little things going on to keep you entertained.

Just had another read of the Adel web site. Seems that there is a bit of a dress code on Fri and Sat evenings...a "proper black or white shirt" and dark trousers, IF you are not going in leather or PVC lol. Any other time or day, then wear what you want.
Was a time when Sunday afternoons was good in there...
Be interested to hear how you got on when you get back.
