As a member of bar staff at a local club I really enjoy it at the end of the night when customers leave saying they have had a fantastic night.
After speaking to some customers last night they said they love the club and love the fact that when they leave I never say ' don't forget to put a review on.'
It turns out that another club they visit ask them all the time to put a review on!
I was shocked by this.
Has anyone else ever been asked to put a review on after visiting a club?

I think good and bad feedback is very important and actually any good business should encourage this. We do actually have a sign up encouraging people to leave their feedback (good and bad) if they don't feel like they can speak to staff directly. How is a business supposed to improve if customers do not have a means of sharing their experience?
Maybe you could adopt something similar as customers in every walk of life are used to being asked for their views. It's professional, it shows customers that you care and sometimes customers see things that you have never thought of! Some of our best ideas/improvements have come from customers |

Honest feed back is what the clubs and event holders want. It is fantastic hearing you've had a great time or what you've loved, but, as I've been saying all weekend, 'If you don't tell us what's wrong, we can't put it right' |

"A few. Why not? I'm always getting feedback requested cards from cafes and restaurants so it seems the done thing these days."
I've been asked for feedback when leaving a club and been asked to review. I have no issue with it and will always be honest and constructive.
It's my standard practise to review a club on fab every time I've been. I think it's a courtesy to staff for hosting for the evening and even if I've attended before, I've given an up to date recommendation.
I ask for feedback of my clients every day at work.
The amount of times I say 'have you liked us on FB?' per day, is unbelievable. Makes business sense to me. |

Maybe I am just a little reserved when it comes to asking people for reviews.
Maybe it says more that the people just keep coming back and bringing there friends.
Thanks for all your opinions guys x |

A lot of companies ask for feedback but it's not posted up for all to see as it is on Fab.
Think there's a fundamental difference between providing a way for customers to give you feedback and the review pages on here.
So many people have noted the hostile backlash from loyal fans that most negative reviews generate. It does make the review section fairly redundant in terms of any suggestion that you might find a balanced view. |
