If you're coming southbound on the m5 don't come off for a40 cos it's got a bridge closed. The diversion is fine but lengthy.

Stay on the m5 till (I think) the a38 exit.

Folks, the drink to go for is a 50/50.

First go to the 'Natural Ice' van and then to the 'Big Red Bus Bar'

You'll get s fruit Granita first then the bar will put the booze in it.

It's the one to get!!

What an amazing weekend of fun, filth and making new friends!

A very well organised event and the security team did an excellent job of making us all feel safe and free to enjoy the event with no concerns.

The day and night entertainment was good, especially on Friday.

Plenty of toilets and showers, plenty of ale to go around and a cracking bunch of horny swingers.

We hope you took advantage of the free condoms and lube in the info tent!

Special thanks to the Townhouse members who joined us at our tent for drinkies on friday and for cheering me on in the jelly wrestling

Townhouse have sponsored Swingfields for 2 years now and we confirmed on the journey home that we are sponsoring again in 2016, no hesitation!

Pulling off an event like this is a huge undertaking and the Swingfields team should be very proud of themselves for delivering a very special event.

Sincerely... Well done from Townhouse for giving us such a wonderful event.

Much love

Vic and Jim - Townhouse xxxxxxx

Having the likes of, Townhouse, Amour, Route 69, Effrenata, a big contingent from Decadent Nights and Secrets, and The Playground i think i spotted too lol (sorry if we've missed anyone ), means a lot, and as we've said before if you leave smiling we've done our job lol.

Now to find away next year where Kitty and i get get down to the arena in the day a bit more pmsl

We met him, what a great character, we went in his abode, I had some of the raspberry vodka and Simon. Had the cider, had an hour listening to all his tales, a lovely man. We should invite him to Swingfileds next year!

Love that it was a top, not knickers - typical sensationalism! I actually did collect up knickers from a play tent, but no-one collected them from lost property at the Info Tent

Comments on the papers' sites appear to be mostly agreeing that it's all a fuss over nothing

We had a great time but some moments were ruined by guys that couldn't keep their hands to themselves . It's just a shame these people can't learn to respect others . But I guess that's just the way things are wether it's a festival , club or anywhere else.

Unfortunately one guy made Jen cry when he was told no. But by the time security came over he had gone .

The event itself was amazing and well organised . And everyone we spoke to was friendly and fun .

What a fab festival we had so much fun and it was great to meet so many friends new and old. As for the press coverage here at Santonesse we are delighted at the write-up (and the subsequent comments) the hits on our website went mental on Sunday as the papers picked it up. On a more serious note thanks go out to Stu and Deb plus all of the audience from the fashion show for giving us such a fantastic response and for supporting us. You guys are great!! Having been this year we kinda agree with this.

Not only that but control of phones and recording equipment on site needs to be sorted too because this year it wasn't so hot. And the drone that was flying around was that the organisers? Because if it was it would have been nice to have notice that a drone with a camera was going to be flying over the site. It was mentioned to us by more than one person.

We have been rather concerned about our picture popping up in one of these news articles. It would make things very very awkward for us to say the least.

We had a great time but do feel these issues need sorting for next year.

I 100% agree we are very worried that our photo is going to be printed somewhere too. I've been on line looking every half hour or so to see what's been said or show next by the press. Last year it was very tight on phones etc etc. there must be a way to police who is purchasing tickets but I do understand it will be a mammoth task I just worry that maybe some people will be reluctant to come or put off because of all the press this year.xx

Security were on the look out for people taking photos - I was talking to 2 attendees and looking at the media coverage online on their phone and we were approached by one member of the security team to check what we were doing - and I was clearly wearing a staff tshirt

It's impossible to check what everyone on site is doing with a phone at all times - the vast majority of people were just checking texts/ fab/ facebook/ weather etc, so not doing anything 'wrong'. If people do see photos/ videos possibly being taken then please do inform a member of staff or security and it will be followed up at the time x

Is that the system that is going to be in place for next year? Because if it is we won't be going.

This year that system did not work. I did see security ask two different people to delete videos or pictures. I also see at least 3 other people taking pictures and one taking video. And that was all in the entertainment area. I understand I could have gone to security but to be honest we were there to enjoy ourselves not police the event and if we see that many people how many were actually doing it?! If you allow them in you will not control them all. It is as simple as that.

I do understand that you can not be on top of all phones etc etc all the time it would be impossible. Most of the people were very respectful and understand of people's privacy witch is great. My mane concern now is that because the word had traveld far and wide how will the press be policed for next year. it would be very easy for them to purchase a ticket. Then there is a lot of very unhappy ppl and some jobless people may I addicted the press got in.xx

As we have said earlier we had a fantastic Weekend

The site was a nightmare for the security with loads of access points you only had to stand on the hill and look over the field we think they did a excellent job we seen them escorting someone of on thursday night so it gave you a sence of security.

You are always going to get someone complaining wherever we go we used to run a small club in the Midlands and the one person complaining lived 5 mile away not even in area we was.

the thursday to Sunday was a good idea it gave people a chance to get home early on sunday.

the only thing i would say to the team dont put signs out with arrows surely we can all follow the directions we was sent it was a bit like saying here we are here come and have a look, you could do it by using symbols ie follow red circles etc etc

We are who we and we do what we do the public should deal with it and not make comments.

I bet the people in village love the woman that started all this flaxley is now known worldwide as the sex party town of England nobody had ever heard of the place till she got the press involved.

Looking forward to 2016 aready how many sleeps till next one

So will we. If the public gets a kick out of seeing how we have our fun, that's fine by me. I see this as good PR for the lifestyle. The more public attention it gets, the more bored the public will get with the press coverage. And hopefully one day, the stigma associated with the lifestyle will be dead and buried. Many, many people's lives have been ruined after being outed as a Swinger by the Press. No matter how you think you may handle it, the reaction of family, friends, work colleagues and employers cannot be second guessed.

It is a ridiculous situation that we now have gay marriage and 50 Shades of Gray as a bestseller yet Swinging still remains a great taboo. ridiculous really when the number one cause of marital breakdown is infidelity.

All I am worried about is our face or car being in the press next year because let's face it the press will be all over it next year. Each to there own but I don't want our young children getting wind of what we do nor do I want them getting picked on because one of there class mates have seen it in the press.

We have been 2014 and 2015 and to say we had a blast would be an understatement so please don't anyone think I am criticizing the team and the amazing job they do for us all I was simply expressing my concern for next year.

As I said each to there own but we prefer to keep our private life private.xx

We both work in the public sector and would both face losing our jobs if found out, me in particular. So it is now making me think rather than just buying tickets for next year.

The actual story was on the local papers site and was on there Saturday night and its just been lifted from there and used by all the different news outlets. It's the addition of the photo's taken sunday morning from inside the camp that is really worrisome

We're also wary of booking because of the photo situation. It's not as bad for me if my car is photographed, my friends and some of my work colleagues know what I do.

But my man is married and having his pic in a national newspaper is a massive problem. How do the team plan to prevent this?

I think the easiest way to stop those who aren't 'real swingers' from purchasing tickets is to have a rule whereby you either

A) Have been to Swingfields before.

B) have had your profile for six months or more at the time of booking and are verified by meets or:

C) if fairly new to the scene you need to have veris/recommendations from at least two couples/individuals are well know to the scene!

I know that this would make the purchasing of tickets more drawn out but it would make people feel more secure I think? And if you decide to do something like that then I for one would be happy to give a few hours of my time to help - and I'm sure others would too!

Next year as a precautionary measure I'll be taking along some cardboard or similar to cover my car number plates with! For the first time I wish my car wasn't bright green - but am I going next year? - HELL YEAH!!!

And Effranata too - I'm on a roll!!

But my man is married and having his pic in a national newspaper is a massive problem. How do the team plan to prevent this? "

We have a new location , pre booking requirements tightened, phones will no longer be allowed in camping area, we will look into providing lockers for valuables etc , security being overhauled etc etc more will be announced . Worth putting this into perspective however . There are other outdoor events for lifestylers this summer and i dont expect the press will bother , this was fueled by ONE resident and next year we will ask to council to check and confirm letters have gone out to residents, we will also visit them . The new site will be a lot better to secure xx

Yes, it sounds great and one person complaining doesn't bother us, it's just ensuring that he doesn't get photographed without his permission. Thanks

village between York and Hull

It is unfortunate that this has ended up in the press, however we thought security did an excellent job. It would be totally impossible to stop someone taking pics and sending them to the press if they really wanted to. We fully understood when booking for the first one that there was always going to be a risk involved. You can be sure that there will now be members of the press on this site since the festival because if you do a google search this forum comes up.

It is unfortunate that there is a stigma attached to the lifestyle but unfortunatly that will never change, all we can all do is weigh up the risks involved and make a decision based on that. For us personally it certainly will not put us off attending future events. We are surprised it has taken 3 years for the press to get hold of it. We are confident that the Swingfields team will do all they possibly can again next year to keep the event safe from prying eyes. Roll on Swingfields 2016... 4 is twice as much fun!!!

And there you go folks, the response from the organisers shows their wholly professional attitude towards the privacy, discretion and above all, the enjoyment of their guests at Swingfields.

Any outside event, whether a horse race meeting, football match, music festival or Swingfields will attract critics on the grounds of noise or disagreement with the activity of the event.

We should all be mindful, and a little respectful of the fact that many people don't understand 'the lifestyle' and as a result jump to (usually incorrect) conclusions. There will always be NIMBY's, we just have to take steps to minimise their cause for complaint.

We thoroughly enjoyed meeting such a diverse range of extremely friendly people at Swingfields and can't wait until next year!

Sadly that's all it sounded like it boiled down to, one woman not amused and informed the press. Obviously Swingers won't be accepted by everyone so it probably isn't a surprise that someone wasn't happy and obviously the woman is entitled to speak out if it is upsetting her in some way but the only complaint was about the noise from the music ( which sounds like wasn't too high anyway ) then the Festival was a discreet affair.

,

Your changes for next year should hopefully make security tighter...Good Luck

Very impressed with the prompt response and coming up with solutions to help stop the same thing happening next year re the pictures taken on the site.

"A drone over the site?? Are you serious?!

The drone was ours and one of the security features. We clearly cannot vet people totally but it clearly states that purchasing a ticket confirms people are not press , if they purchase then under current press rules they will be breaking rules . The only "infiltration" this year appears to be when we stood the security team down on sunday morning and somebody got in so security for 2016 will work till last guests leave. We will be working to ensure youre all safe and protected xx

The safety checks you mention are already in place and we vet everyone to the best of our ability. Next year will be less exciting for the press as they didn't get a great story this year. Most people commented on the fact that they had missed out !! Love it. Onwards and upwards for 2016 xx

A great weekend had by me and the rest of the gang (You know who you are peeps!).

A special thanks to the all the organisers and staff who were very helpful and made the weekend even better.

The press has not me off from being there in 2016.

Its a true test of character especially in this day and age yhat everyone posting is looking to make it stronger and better,

Really positive feedback and not a slagging match! sure sign of a solid community!

Also it may be inviting the devil in to your home, but now that there is media awareness is it worth inviting a freelance journalist in next year and give him a pod and beer tokens and thoroughly go through his stuff to check for canera and phones!

On the terms of no personal pictures!

Then turn him loose in the festival for a night!

Better the devil you know then the devil you dont!
