Personally, I think that it depends on you. If you are friendly, chatty and have no problem with talking to strangers then yes. If you're shy and likely to stand in the corner and wait to be approached, then no... don't waste your money.
We have played with several single guys at clubs.
It's also worth mentioning that there's no guarantee of anything... It doesn't matter how good you are. Those who are ok with being told NO tend to do best though.
