I really want to give the club scene a go. I've not met anyone that I'd really want to go with. I've spoke to a couple of females about going alone and they've said definitely not! Should I really not go by myself? Any advice appreciated  |

Been alone to clubs to find f/f fun and never ever had problems enjoyed myself and had fun.
If there was an issue told staff and it was sorted. Just tell staff on door when you get to club that you are alone and if it is a good club they keep an eye on you... And a "no" is a "no" in a club |

I went on my own it was fine but i think i was lucky to get chatting to nice people. Maybe chat to a couple on here and arrange to go o the same night, your not walking into starngers then xx |

it depends on you as well. if your confidant stand on your own two feet you have no problem. if your shy or unsure of your self making a few friends to meet there is a good idea. and remember no really dose mean no so your safe in a club just tell staff if your getting unwanted attention

Youll be fine , just chat to the staff and let them know your on your own and they should introduce you to some couples there to keep an eye out for you . All the people we have met at clubs have been respectful ... go and have fun xx |

Why have they said definitely not, I go both along and with others, I arrange meets their so I'm not tied to someone all night. |

V here. I often go to clubs alone. I prefer nights where single guys are allowed. As everyone else has said.... Confidence, be clear when you say "no", talk to staff for the low down, and just talk to people. You'll be fine. It's a fun night out usually even if you don't get naughty with anyone.

i wouldnt go alone but thats just me - lots do and have a fine old time - maybe attend a social at a club rather than just a regular club night for your first and try and find out who is going and chat to them ahead of time - wont feel like you are going into a room of strangers then |

I used to go on my own all the time and it was fine! Never had a bad experience. |

I go on my own, its great fun!!
Be proactive though and speak to people, all the advice given to single guys about clubs on the forums work for us too.
And don't be worried to be vocal.. if Someone does something your not comfortable with tell them very clearly no, although I've not had to do this very often at all.

Id just say chose your club carefully. Some clubs are much better Tha others. I've had mixed experiences, although nothing horrible has happened. Arranging to meet people in a club is good advice. |

Decide what club you want to go to and the date you want to go.
And you could post a meet for that date. Or look through the meets section to see if anyone has posted a meet. Introduce yourself and see what happens.
Means you will at least have others to say hello too in advance. |

Hiya,I like to go alone sometimes and always have a great time. If you fancy a social to meet some peeps then the Gloucester social, first Thursday of every month is a really busy and friendly event. Let me know if you want to go along and you can come with us xx  |

We get lots of ladies come along to our club on their own, we always look after them and any one else who comes along. When we get newbies in now they always tell us that other people on fab have recommended us as the first club to attend. |
