swingfields bed dilemma

"We're going and had thought about this too. Roll matts seem a bit uncomfortable for fun and blow up beds a bit fragile. Might have to take 'options' lol"
last year my friend provided the bed, it was a huge double raised bed, that had some special blower thing, needed mains.
This bed got walked around swingfields, ended with several punctures. The 2nd bed had what was meant to be a car adapter but was in fact a battery power blower. With no batteries.
This year im going alone with a foot pump xx |

Get a couple of those waterproof backed picnic rugs (petrol stations often have them on offer) and a fitted sheet. Spread the rugs over the airbed and then the sheet to hold all in place. It acts as insulation from the cold and helps protect against any sharps too. One spread on the ground underneath helps too.
And don't forget the no shoes rule, someone always decides that their shoes are too pretty/too much of a pain to take off and is convinced they won't snag it. |

"We have a mattress off an old futon instead of an airbed as i (mrs) have problems with my joints when trying to sleep on an airbed. It is a bit bulky but so much better than an airbed!" Great idea! Off now to rob someone's old futon !! ?? xx
