So there is nothing on their site so i thought I would ask here....
We are stopping in one of the rooms in the 'hotel' so my question is this....
Does it have food available..ie breakfast n dinner?
I have a feeling it's probably more of a crash pad with none of the above tbh but I may be wrong...
Just trying to see if we need to bring our own food or get a taxi out to an eatery in the evening before going in to the club

They have started doing breakfast it's just breakfast buns they are delivered to your room in the morning it's an outside caterer I think. The pub next to the premier in down the road is ok for food before the club opens have fun

Top support.... Thinking about it further we may cancel the room and stay in an actual hotel then get a taxi to the club in the evening...
Thanks again

One of the above posts mentioned no bar but VA's does have a fully operational licenced bar which, together with the lounge, forms the great socialising area for the first part of the evenings.
Guests are also able to pre-order breakfasts, delivered to their room at a time to suit them. There is generally no demand for full evening meals as the club is open from 8pm but there are several options available close by.
If you really are considering other options, be aware that access to the Travelodge is a problem if overnight road closures are in place while improvements to the Black Cat roundabout are taking place. The two Premier Inns should not be a problem. |

Sorry I meant no bar or restaurant separate to the club. We have stayed at the hotel many times and would definitely recommend it. We didn't know they now Do breakfast which sounds great!

That's great, thanks for the reply....
The accommodation is non refundable it seems so we will get a meal etc before booking in later...
Pre booked brekikie is a winner.
Should be a good weekend as we are raving at Pink Punters on the Friday before VA on the Sat |

Ooh, just asked a similar question elsewhere, a very timely thread. The room and breakfast availability sound great. Could we ask exactly what should we expect from the room? Noticed beds were mentioned along with an en suite, is there anything else, and to what standard would you say the rooms are, a good premier inn type cleanly standard?
Thanks. |

Most rooms are en-suite but a couple have shared bathrooms. You will know what you are getting when booking and there is a slight difference in price (details on the club's website).
The rooms have recently been refurbished and are not all the same - something a little different to Premier Inns. |

We have visited the club a few times now but only stayed once and would definetly stay again. Taxis can be a bit of a nightmare later when everyone's leaving especially with the road closures I think if I remember rightly you can get drinks to the room but I could be wrong x |

We've stayed in the rooms a couple of times and would definitely again. They are perfectly nice, considering you won't be in the room much... and the club is great!! Much better than a taxi later and the ability to PPP back to the room anytime during the evening x |

So it's Frisky Friday at The Vanilla Alternative tomorrow and a good chance to see the revamped hot tub room. New ceramic flooring, new play beds and new lighting. All looking very nice. Last Friday was great so looking for another good one tomorrow. No idea if there are any hotel rooms available so best to ring club if you are interested. |

This thread has been really great for us as we are thinking of visiting VA soon - never been to a club before and we want our first visit to be a good experience. |
