I used to go with a f/b but no more, the rules don't apply to staff members who think they can make innuendos, gawp and grope without fear of recrimination. It did used to be fantastic when the manager was Craig, the staff were young and eager to make you feel at ease, the atmosphere was electric and the guys well behaved. A recent visit saw a change in everything bar staff old and miserable only interested in getting your money, security consisting of friends of the owners who haven't a clue how to conduct themselves or give people the right information about the rules, rules being openly flouted with no addressing of issues even when staff alerted. The standards have dropped enormously over the last couple of years it's no longer a fun place to go regulars have left in hoards for other clubs, but a few faithful (usually those employed by the club) still try to convince people there aren't any issues, would have put this in a review but I havent been for a few months so would have been unfair.

Only thing you can do is try it and see but don't let it put you off the club scene as a first experience

Even though I did say to try it, therefore not being unfair, some people didn't like what I said, shame on them

Although not local, if you fancy making a weekend of it, The Vanilla Alternative near Bedford may be worth thinking about. With 12 on-site hotel rooms, this upmarket club and its wonderful staff team attract people from all over the country. You can check out their listing in the Clubs section here.

I would suggest to at least try out La Chambre, it is local to you. Please don't rely on other peoples reviews as some are not always truthful. The only way to know if somewhere is for you is to try it out yourselves.

If you are not interested in single men just go on couples night. The staff are welcoming and friendly, we have never had any reason to complain about them.

We have heard bad reviews about other clubs, but have gone anyway to form our own opinion. Not every club can suit everyones taste but doesn't really hurt to give them a try

We go here too, as it is local to us.

Never had any problems with staff or members.

A bit further afield but Townhouse on the Wirral has a lovely relaxed environment and the staff there are fabulous.

They offer sleeper overs for certain events so making a weekend of it can be really fun.
