"Ummmm... The website says "opening early 2010" and I've not heard of anyone who has gone. I'm inclined to think it may not exist. Shame because Brighton could do with a club.

Indeed it could. All you have now is is the sauna where you have to pretend you are not a naughty person just so you can actually get in and be a naughty person.
This in a town which probably would support an alternative lifestyle club more than anywhere else in the UK. |

you would think so wouldnt you but your be wrong iv been looking at setting up a club for the last 7yrs and i dont think if is every going to happen

I'd pull your friends legs and suggest that perhaps they are confused with Skinny Dippers in Rottingdean, or possibly Hamshaws in Scaynes Hill.
If you get a smile back, rest assured they aren't that fresh to the scene 
Both these clubs did poach a few regulars from Angie and Sam, but BGHS has always maintained the upper hand and facilities. |

BGHS is very nice.... but perhaps can feel a little stifled at times.
After I received the"words of advice" from Sam for lathering up a ladies tits in the shower, I made the journey up to Chameleons in Brum. Wow, what a step change with what appears to be similar facilities.
Clearly both facilities are unique, but the drive was bearable compared to the experience at chams! |

Dosnt look like club77 is open, however there is Clubspankbrighton it is more fetish though. It's ticket based and is held at Brighton and Hove Rugby club xx |

Yeah seen this online x i was led to belive by a couple of freinds that a club / spa had opened in West Hove end of last year but I only found club77 website x but again how often do these clubs appear only to disappear weeks later lol x |

Having been born and raised in Brighton I know the town (city my arse) and people quite well. I would argue that 'Alternative lifestyle' in regards to aforementioned town would be more of an accountant working 9-5 going home to his wife with dinner on the table at six. Bit of sex on a Saturday night, asleep by nine.
I love my home town but would argue it's not alternative it's just... just... er... bonkers?  |

Hamshaws aka Brighton Sun Club - there is a blast from the past! First place we went to and first play we ever had! Probably 11 years ago  Closed down now sadly, and isn't it an OAP retirement place now? If only walls could talk..... |

Skinny Dippers closed back in 2006 / 2007 I believe their NYE party was the last one.
I was there. We're still in touch with Linda, one half of the couple who ran it and she was at our wedding recently. Absolutely lovely woman. |

Was The Brighton Sun Club not now where The Brighton Sauna is for Gay Men ? It used to have a pool inside but they have done away with it.
If it wasnt The Sun Club it was deffo a naturists mixed sauna club. I remember it been there. |

Also naughty minx could your friends be getting mixed up with TBS2 in Hove
This also belongs to The Brighton Sauna and is gay but has recently been extended and Refurbished with an added floor.
If they have heard of a spa /sauna club in Hove it could well be this one. |

Did hear that ' subline?' club at the bottom of St James street might be thinking of doing something...
Maybe just another rumour...
Think it comes down to cost outlay
and lack of adequate facilties.
Not being many Ind Estates in Brighton think premises are slim picking and leases to expensive.
Besides Brighton I think is happy with label of a gay mecca not sure if they,d wish to encourage extra hedonists...
Also if liscence granted it might open flood gates for other xxx (pay for pleasure)establishments like in
other cities in uk. |

Club77 was punted after SkinnyDippers closed. The "owners" made a website, then started to apply for the many and various licenses and insurances needed to open. As a direct result of finding that the council were not about to play ball, and finding the costs involved, the whole project simply faded away. The club never opened. |

I met someone who was involved with Club 77 about this time and that is quite correct. One hurdle after another until forced to stop. Now there is only BG in the entire south coast area from Southampton to Dover and beyond.  |

Ive been to both Hamshaw and SkinnyD's but sadly they are no more. Pity as Hamshaw was quite fun and close by. BGHS can sometimes be too full of overtly prowling guys. |

Tease, do visit on a Friday night as the venue is so upmarket.
The weekend crowd post 6pm , I.e. ejection of all the singles is completely different to the week days.
If your friend is available, a good suggestion might be to pop in on Sunday afternoon around 3pm, enjoy the electric atmosphere, then stay late and compare the evening entertainment!
Your friend won't get hassled etc during the mixed sessions as the staff their keep a Very keen eye on goings on.... |

Thankfully a great little party ( not club ) location runs in Crawley providing you can find a way in to the invite list. Regretfully Hamshaws ( later Club Liberty ) closed and Skinny Dippers dipped and Sussex became more Sus-sex-less . I too enjoy BGHS but miss the days of playing in a shower or a steam room that went on in Scaynes Hill. You would think with such a rich corridor of opportunity something on the M23/A272 would have sprung up by now. Oh well more is the pity I guess we will have to either make do with scrambles to Heathrow or Sutton or fumbles in smaller rooms in BGHS. Where or where has the sexxy gone from Sussex. |

But i heard s couple hired it on tuesdays to do a swingers club.
Does anyone know who owns the old sauna club at Rottingdean that was gay ? That would make a fab swingers club. Id be interested in running it with over 30 yrs of running gay saunas and swingers clubs up north genuinly think i know what people like and want. Just need a nice rich man or couple to fund it for me.

Well if i had a backer id make a proper swingers club.
Iv worked in the best Partners @ Bury and that is a club to be admired with 100 couples every Friday Saturday and Sunday and about 20 the weekday nights.
Wet Area. Dungeon. Social area and Play Rooms.
