I was just wondering if any fellow forumites would be interested if I was to organise a social @ Townhouse on the Wirral in Feb.
It would be on a Fri night and open to couples and singles as long as you were on the guest list!

Even though this will be a social, all the facilities of the club will be available for those who wish to get very social 
If you haven't been before, take a look at the clubs webiste, great club and well worth a visit. |

So the date is sorted for Friday 27th Feb, 8.30pm-3am.
There is a thread running in Swingers Clubs/Event Ads for you to add names to, feel free to keep chatting in here as well though
It is guest list entry only for this night, if you're not on the guest list, you can't get in to Townhouse on the night! |

Either sounds fine to me - but bi- monthly is easier for those travelling from outside the NW. If they're every two months they'll feel like more of an occasion I think? Xx |

low and behold.... friday 27th feb.... York Social.....
sorry.... but this one feels much more like a driver to get attendance and promoting a club, than it does actually a social.....
you are asking people from outside the north west to give up a friday to travel up... than doing it on a saturday night and going back on a sunday where you would have likely gotten a larger attendance..... |

Sorry but you are wrong. The organiser has nothing to do with the club, he just likes the vibe and is hiring it for the social. I am helping him to answer questions. Is this a problem for you?
If an organiser were to try and choose a night that didn't clash with every single other social/party going on, they would have a very hard job. It doesn't clash with any other social in the NW area, which is the best an organiser can hope for. |

Low and behold, York Social, adverised on Fab ONE day ago, this thread was started before that, as was the official thread for this social once the date was decided on.
I'm a fairly new member of Townhouse, but like the place and think it would make a great place for a Fab social, with the added benifit os playrooms if people want to play, but no pressure either way. Also it means people can try the club without having to become a member.
The reason this is on a Friday, not a Saturday night, is because the event calander for the club on a Sat night is already booked, whereas they have some free Friday nights available, which I decided would be a good as lots of people from this area often put up that they want to organise something, but hardly anything actualy happens. I've decided to make it happen, if people from outside the North West decide they want to attend, that's down to them and they have plenty of notice so they can plan for it! |

You don't have to explain your choice of day chuck...this is your event and you are giving it a go. Many people are supporting it whichi s testiment to it's popularity and the need for someone to organise such an event. Never been to a club but if I can get on list I will show not a townhouse member though sure singles have to join before a meet.

Very good point. No you DO NOT have to be a member to come along, so this is a brilliant opportunity to visit Townhouse, enjoy the facilities and see for yourself why we are a popular club.

Yes, this is a private function just for Fab members as stated on the Townhouse website. Members of Fab on the guest list only for this night. |

The organiser has hired the club for his own use. So if he wanted to sit on his own and watch porn all night, he could But he has chosen to have a Fab social and therefore, he can stipulate, Fab members only.
We have many Fridays throughout the year where the club can be hired for personal use and it would not be open for general membership
