I'll be attending with my partner, A's I know it's strict dress code, as a Scottish guy, is formal highland dress acceptable rather than black tie/cumberbund?

Hi there..we've been on NYE and We would say yes. That said the best thing to do is send them an email to confirm. your outfit sounds lovely!

Is it easier to ask forgiveness than permission? Just don't want them thinking it's "fancy dress"
