Stealing from clubs
Jump to: Newest in thread
I was very annoyed to find that (believe it or not) a push button for the toilet flush was unscrewed and stolen from one of our upstairs cubicles!! We have also noted that USB memory sticks have been stolen for our projector room along with porn DVDs amongst other silly things.
We endeavour to keep our entry prices as low as possible but if thieving continues we will have no alternative other than to raise our prices to cover the cost of replacing stolen items.
Anyone caught stealing from our premises will be named and shamed and we will contact the police, be it anything from fixtures and fittings to a packet of wipes.
Hate moaning but despite popular belief clubs aren't making millions |

We agree, one of the reasons we closed the lodge was an endless stream of thefts, cushions, sheets, lights, lasers etc etc now we have a much higher security and online tickets only. Most of our guests are brilliant and treat the venue like their own home but occasionally somebody ruins it |

It is a small minority that spoil it for others. Dave is at the club now, he's taken a week off from his everyday job to start work on the extension. He's invested in a new pool/snooker table and he's got a designer in to create a new games/social area. We won't be able to to do things like this if people take the piss. |

We've been quite lucky really but do still have the odd thing go AWOL! It's annoying and disrepectful and we have no problem pressing charges when someone steals from us.
Us scousers don't always live up to our reputation! lol that is unless you have a nice set of wheel trims |

I have so far found the opposite. I have yet to hold a party without "winning" something.
Often it is the odd pair of nickers or two...stockings, pillow cases, CD's, toiletry/make-up bags etc.... I always try to find the owners and get them back to them.
I even had a pair of 5" heel black patent shoes left once....couldn't track down the owners despite contacting every guest from the previous two parties. They didn't even fit me lol!
Gave them to a friends daughter in the end....when she came to stay for a weekend.
Do think it is totally wrong to be nicking from clubs tho....just spoils things! |

We have had expensive things taken from the club here as well. Then there is the really petty thieving, we leave perfume and hand cream in the ladies and it always goes missing even the cheap £1 bottles. Its then very disappointing for members who need to use these when they are here. |

We've stopped putting stuff out like that. Just simple tissues and wipes in our loos now. Shame, but the minority spoil it for everyone.

Some quite nice art work in Libs amongst other items. Would not even cross our mind to take anything. Just shows a blatant disrespect especially where a club allows you to relax outside of social norms. |
