How often do you attend a club

Just curious to know how often couples attend a club on average, is it a weekly visit or less ? Perhaps you only go a few times a year or have been just once. Interested to know what the average is and which club you attend. |

With young kids, it's not easy. We've been twice to Libs since August and we're off to Xtasia for the first time on Friday. After that, I don't think we'll go again for a good few months. |

At most 3 or 4 times a year interspersed with parties and meets at home...We like to mix it up. Different things meet different needs and time is a massive factor with work and family stuff... |

Anything from once or twice a month to up to 3 times in a week! probably about once a week on average (twice the week just gone and 2 different clubs).
We think they are fun, safe places to meet and if we end up just the two of us that's OK as well.

As a club, we have found that people can't afford to attend clubs as often as they would like to and other clubs will probably agree with this. When we first opened nearly 10 years ago, the club was packed every night. Obviously after the novelty wore off of a new club, the numbers declined a little, but it was still steadily busy. Then the recession hit and people were staying in more, having their own parties and meeting online. ALL clubs have felt this immensely and many have closed or at least cut some of their nights down. Many have changed hands (like ours) and some have changed direction with how they run.
We get our regulars like every club, then we get people who make it once a month on party nights, then others who can only make it quarterly.
I know that many would like to come more and despite our club being reasonable, it's not feasible... babysitters, travelling to the club, entry etc...
Private parties are killing some clubs and people are making money from some of these parties....good on 'em is all I say as there is a market for private parties, but clubs still need support.
There was one club that closed not so long ago (it will remain unnamed) and people were moaning that there weren't any other clubs in the area and how bad it was blah blah....the same people hadn't been to the club for AGES! The old adage, 'use it or lose it' comes to mind.
Thankfully we are doing great, but I know that some of our colleagues in other clubs are struggling.

Been to one this year but didn't enjoy the experience
Maybe more often in the new year as we have been let down a few times with arranged meets not showing up
Can't do it too often as we need sitters plus we get nervous at clubs that have single guys (our problem I know) |

It normaly averages out to once or twice a month. Sometimes 3 nights one after the other, sometimes nothing for a couple of months. Depending on whats on at the clubs I go to and how much spare cash I've got. |

Go one club regularly once a month and try to fit in a visit somewhere new every month too...can be costly with travel and hotel but most clubs are worth the expense if you go with the right frame of mind...  |

It depends on so many factors.
We used to go a lot more but we had an aupair so we could go at the drop of a hat, be back in the early hours and kids were none the wiser!
We've not had one for a few years so now it's a case of if the stars align!
The reason we don't go more is simply because of lack of babysitters, there are only 2 people we trust so very dependant on them, and sometimes it's just not convenient.

Clubs are a bit thin on the ground down our way so we tend to travel to Abfabs bi night / Kestrels when we get the chance, which is maybe 4 times a year for Abfabs and about the same for Kestrels (tends to be more in the Summer months for the half decent weather). |

Depends whats on .. every saturday we attend townhouse and on occasional fridays too and maybe in the week once if we fancy it and dont have our son so at least 1ce a week. Love it! x |

Having children and busy professional life it isn't easy to arrange time to play in clubs. There is no clubs nearby but we managed to have our first club experience at the VA. Looking forward to go to a club again soon. Tired of be disappointed in some meets arranged through fabswingers. Xxx |

We used to go Chams at least once a month for a few years then it got a bit less s family stuff and sport got more busy then i got injured (not at Chams) and it was difficult and painful to cope with the amount of stairs there or get in and out the jacuzzi so we havn't been for ages and ages, i have had an operation now and hopefully we will start going again when i can pluck up courage to try using all those stairs again !!!!! |
