We went 3 and 5 years ago, and both were great nights.
Everyone made an effort to get dressed up and it was very social until after midnight when the "party" really got going!
I would say it's a great option for NY if you don't have family ties or similar.
Start the year as you mean to go on! |

Am going there on NYE. Have asked a male friend if he wants to go as a couple with me
I don't know what the rules are concerning a single woman pairing up with a guy and arriving as a couple. Does anyone know? I could ask the staff at reception next time I am there but they are normally quite busy checking people in |

Based on the signs I saw last time I was there, they're getting quite twitchy about it. If it's a 'no single guys' night, couples are supposed to stay together at all times. Unaccompanied men risk getting asked to leave. It seems they've had some problems with single men either pairing up with single women or hiring escorts to get in on Saturdays, when single men aren't allowed in, and then separating when they've got through the door and doing the usual single-bloke things. |

OK, thanks. I will ask him to apply for a couples membership with me
He won't be moving more than a couple of metres away from me any time during the evening or that is the last he will ever see of me |

Well...
After recommending it earlier in this thread, we are now definitely going as well!
Will be bringing pink Champagne as its Dee's favourite, and plan to toast the New Year in a style we would like to continue!
Spillages will be licked off ! LOL
Looking forward to seeing you all.
