Thinking of going to abfabs next weekend (Saturday) for first visit - what is best to wear on first visit? Don't want to be to underdressed but also don't want to be to overdressed? Can you have mobile phones on you in there or do they have lockers you can use there for storage? Thanks.

In our experience, Saturday nights are a dress up occasion. Women tend to wear sexy / daring outfits so wear what you feel sexy in.

You're not supposed to carry mobile phones round with you so keep it in your locker or in the secure lockers behind the counter.

If you take a bottle of drink with you, make sure it's not expensive as there are people who seem to have no problem with helping themselves to alcohol not belonging to them. One tip is to wrap your bottle in a plastic bag and put it as far back in the fridge as possible.

We're going to invest in a combination lock bottle top as we're getting increasingly pi**ed off with scumbags helping themselves to our wine.

Hope you have fun on Saturday

Hi there,

Please come along, if only to watch the fun. Don't fee pressured to join in, just relax and enjoy.

When you arrive you will be given a guided tour and made to feel very welcome. Be brave, we were all newbies once.*

The first time we went I wore a short back bondage style dress and felt almost nude, all the other ladies were quite modest (even frumpy!!!) Next time I toned it down and was SOOOO overdressed.......knickers were apparently optional that night. My answer is, be comfortable, look and feel sexy but don't feel uncomfortable or over exposed. It's your first time, get more relaxed second time around. A simple black dress will do fine, shoe a little leg or cleavage, whatever is your strong point. ~For him definitely no jeans, a shirt is a must a tie is optional.

Mobile phones are stored in the lockers, for everyone benefit.

As for drinks, there are fridges, sticky labels and marker pens for you to use. We have been to abfabs many times and only had our wine nicked once, right at the end of the evening (mind you, we don't buy the good stuff

We will be going along tomorrow. Look out for us, just for someone to break the ice....no pressure, just a couple of friendly faces.

"We're going to go next Saturday - anyone else going?"

We're thinking of going there, or to Eureka - is the accommodation at/near AbFab?

Most use the Terminal 5 Travelodge.

The taxis know where it is and are cheap.

Thank you

Has anyone also been to Eureka or VA, how do they compare?
