Top floor being redesigned and refurbished, shut off entirely above dungeon level. Was there Friday night and told still lot of work to be done; some may be open for halloween weekend but no guarantee. |

We spent friday there and its currently the ground and first floors only, this had no bearing on the level of fun we had though !
We think they will be going some to complete by next friday ! |

Oops ,judging by the messages we have received we maybe didnt make it clear,
its the ground floor and first floors that are open for play and that currently the top floor is closed for a major refit .
Was good to meet you all on friday, roll on our next visit .

Obviously they've got Laurel & Hardy doing the work instead of getting some proper contractors in, they are really making a meal of it - must be being paid per day rather than for the job as a whole. (Probably the same people who take weeks to change the projector lamp in the cinema) It'd better be AMAZING, but if you pay peanuts...
Are they doing admission fee discounts while great parts of the club are inaccessible?  |

In the builders defence,
(if they deserve it !) we were told on friday that the owner did apparently change his mind on layouts once work had started and they came across dry rot last week as well so a load of steelwork had to go in .
One young builder did seem to make about 6 trips up and down the stairs for no reason than to check out Fran, who couldnt help but play up to it !!!
Like we have already said it doesnt impact on the rest of the club and you can still have a super time, will be interesting on numbers if they get a bumper Halloween attendance!
