Hi all, thinking of a first ever visit to this venue on a monday which I believe is bi night as we are a bi couple. We love the social scene and not visit venues for the sole intention of playing. Just like some opinions please is this a good day to go for a first visit or would we be advised to sample other days first. I know first impressions count for a lot so want first visit to be something to remember. Cheers guys |

Kestrals (daytime) is for obvious reasons very effected by the weather. On a cold rainy day the numbers attending will be lower but because people stay under cover this can paradoxically mean more socialising goes on.
AbFabs (the evening) tends to be busier with more people turning up after 7pm adding to the Kestrals crowd that have stayed on.
We find that Mondays are the busiest evenings other than the weekends but are much more relaxed with a very mixed crowd.
In case you hadn't guessed, it is our night of choice at our club of choice. |

It's a great club well worth a visit.
I've never been on a Monday but I think as said above ^^ it's one of the busier nights.
If it's a sunny hot day would be good to arrive early when it is Kestrels & then stay on for the evening.
Is it the Bank Holiday Monday you're going if so they might be doing a BBQ ~ have a look the website or under Club events on here for info.
Have fun x |

You only pay once so it works out at £30 for a couple for 13 and a half hours fun.

There is a mandatory £5 per head charge for the barbecue and any bank holiday Monday will be very busy.

There was a BBQ last Sunday so I don't think there is one this weekend.
Agree with Natasha and David's assessment that when the weather is bad there is more playing indoors whereas sunshine tends to keep couples in the pool.
As it's a bank holiday weekend I believe that Sunday will be open until midnight |
