Just wondering if _tasia do any form of night where they only play rock music at all ? We went sat and loved it but the music isn't our style at all lol I know they do phukt with house and dance etc so do they do anything else like this with rock ? This won't stop us going at all as we had a great time but would like to enjoy the music too lol

Take a look at the Xtasia website for details of what's on each night that they're open. Also message Xtasia on here and say about it. They always listen to suggestions and they might be able to sort something in the future if not already

Happy to do one. We did try to move some nights to Genre specific, but they tended to split the vote, and numbers fell if not interested in the specific genre that night. However happy to revisit it, or allow members to do a specific night themselves if willing to run a party list. Or of course, you can have a word with the DJ's when here, they will always respond, if you promise to dance!!

I'd love this, or at least indie tunes with some radio friendly rock if the more hardcore rock is too much for Folks.

Not a fan of dance stuff so much so always on look out for places that don't always play that

Being into Rock music, I've always let ordinary club music go in one ear and out the other without bothering too much about it...however a night featuring rock music would be good...

...only thing is though, rock music fans being what they are, is everyone going to end up sitting cross legged all night, making peace symbols and daisy chains, whilst enjoying the music, or will anyone still get on with the swinging side of things as well?

I did suggest once that a Woodstock Anniversary / Flower Power Night should be tried. Maybe it's time to suggest that again? Not as "offensive" to the non-rock members as an out-and-out "Metal" night, so maybe a good place to start?
