Glasgow

We are flying into Birmingham tomorrow night and looking for our first experience in a nightclub,

The private club seems out the question as it's only open till 12,

Thinking about xstasia, however chams seems popular but is it to far to travel from Birmingham at around 9pm ?

Best thing is to find out the post code of Xstasia and Chams, RAC route planner it to find out how long it will take you, then decide which one you prefer

Xtasia is defo closest but as chams seems to be the more popular from the 2 we are wondering if it will be worth the extra few miles journey

Do you want a 'wet' club (towel for guys, lingerie/towel for women) or a 'dry' club - smart casual for guys, sexy as you dare for women?

Chams is wet, Xtasia is dry but has a jacuzzi too.

Check both club websites for details.

Chams shouldn't be anymore than half hour away from the airport. In my eyes its worth the drive!

Simply put Xtasia is bigger, better and has a hotel less than 200 yrds away, however that said its all about personal preference

Flown into brum airport before and attended chams and xstasia on way home on different occasions, not much difference in milage from airport but would definitely rather go chams a proper swingers club not a nightclub but that's just our preference

Xtasia is the best in the area - try that first.

So Xtasia isn't a 'proper' swingers club?

OP's - by the nature if your question you will probably get Chams regulars singing it's praises and likewise those that frequent Xtasia!

They're both good clubs but both very different. Only you will know your own tastes and preferences and the kind of venue you're more likely to enjoy.

The clubs reviews won't help as they tend to be posted by those that had a good time on the night, rather than impartial views simply rating the venue. They may however give you an indication of the makeup of the clientele (never hurts to browse a few profiles!). Do some research on the clubs own websites and then make the best informed decision, check what 'theme' might be going on (if any), check the meets section to see if anyone else has stated they're going - and hopefully you'll have a great night.

Enjoy your trip down south!!

Are you staying in Birmingham or just flying into the airport?

Both will be relatively easy to get to, but if you want to head back to Birmingham afterwards it could be a bit of a pain. No public transport in the early hours and doubt taxis would be charitable.

In terms of heading there, the metro will take you from Snow Hill to West Bromwich (Xtasia) or the the train will take you from New Street to Walsall, a taxi from there is about £6/£7 (Chameleons).

If you're hiring a car then ignore that, happy days for both (M6 J9 or M5 J2). The choice, as mentioned is do you want to strut about in a towel or get dolled up.

Still amazed that B'ham doesn't offer a city centre solution...although it would perhaps hit the numbers at the busy two mentioned?

Enjoy
