I'd like to introduce a female friend to the scene and we've discussed it many times. She's keen and loves the idea, but I know reality is often different. Does anyone have a recommendation for a midlands based club which will be suitable for her to find her feet without being scared off? |

I would say liberty elite. I have been there and chams and I think chams is a little too busy and is a large club for your first time, where as Libs is more intimate.
Also in Libs it doesn't open till the evening so everyone arrives in the evening and tends to stay in the bar in clothes they arrive in chatting for a while. Where as a lot of other clubs are open throughout the day and when you get there people are often already stripped off and as a newly that's nerve wracking. |

Good reasoning....thanks for the advice |

Jaydees is great for new people.
The focus is very much on the social aspect of swinging and then what will be will be.
It's totally non clique and so well laid out with something for everyone.
Check the club review section and see what others think. |

I agree that Jaydees would be very welcoming for new people, the social area is very relaxed downstairs and then a good mix of private or open rooms if you want to play. X |

Chameleons was our introduction to swinging and after visiting many clubs rate it as the best. You can go there and just see how what happens , there is no pressure to play. Ladies can wear sexy underwear if that is their choice . It is busy and would recommend a Saturday couples only night first. It is great fun. |

The problem with threads like this is that there is inevitably little or any objectivity in the replies and every one invariably just recommends their favourite
What do you want from a club is maybe a more relevant question? And maybe attend when a social is on as more people (and newbiws) will be there.
Personally if your nearest club gets decent reviews and meets what you want then just go there

My advice would be discuss the different local clubs with her to see which she would prefer. Make sure that you explain what kind of club each one is - i.e xtasia, Atlantis, adventures, liberties are dressed more nightclub style club where as chams is called a wet club as its sauna jacuzzi based and the dress code there is towels, sexy lingerie sexy provocative dress for women. Also ascertain what she might want to experience out of the visit - just couples, single fems, single guys or a mix of all. Then between you both check out club reviews and website, even ring the clubs if you've any outstanding questions.
Once you've got all the information you want and any questions answered decide which club to visit. Hope you both have a good time. |

We was newbies at Jaydees, not that long ago, have to say the preferred club so far.
We have been back a good few times now, the staff and manager, make you so welcome, each time you visit, and take time to get to know you.
It has a great layout, it is a lovely place to be.

We've felt the reverse on big vs small clubs - it's easy to disappear into a crowd, it's much harder with only a few people present |

Chams was my first club, and the towel thing made it much easier to settle in and feel accepted. Only been to one 'clothed' club, and I felt that it made people much more inclined to be judging each other, where the towels makes us all (almost) the same.
Oh, and Chams isn't hugely busy every night - perhaps ask them which night they'd recommend |

A lady friend and I are thinking of enjoying our first time in a club.
She's suggesting we go to one while on holidays.
So, can anyone suggest a club which has the sun and sea close by, which would be perfect for a newbie, please?
Thanks. |

Xtasia would be my choice it is big so you can move around freely and you dont feel everyone is looking at you plus it is like a normal nightclub on the bar level so it feels familiar and relaxed from the start.
Good luck and have fun in your quest |
