Swingfields in a couple of weeks, what size tent should we take? Got a 2 man tent or the big 9 man tent.
Should we optimistically take the 9 man tent?

I'm taking my 3 man tent that i use for festivals even though there's only me, If you plan on chillin with drinks and chatting then use the 9 man (not to mention fun and playing) you can never have too much room in a tent lol x |

Yes! Last year there was not one, 2 Man tent !! Everyone is too friendly and hospitable for that, so 9 it is!!   |

We have a pump, and fan, and lights, and countless other useless camping gadgets. Was trying keep all my batteries for other things |

Wish I had electric or a compressor for my fairy lights.... Can't wait for this though, last year was great and this year will be even better.

We have a 6 man tent for 4 of us, but none of us camp so if you fancy a laugh, come over to the Townhouse tend erecting spectacle and film it, you could win yourself £250 on You've Been Framed! LOL |

Take a.look at what's available on fleabay. You can get lettering added at somewhere that does t shirts so if you find something that suits your personality you can adapt it.
Or you can diy with a plain flag and Dylon Image Maker or with a large sheet of wonderweb or bondaweb and a contrasting fabric or even fabric paints. |

Unfortunately had my flag pole nicked at Download fest last week so will be incognito at Swingfields  but will be in a blue 3man Vango tent so all you lovely friendly lot make sure you stop by and say hello  |

Go for the 9 man! - you know we would!!
Just don't fill it with crap like we did last year! After 4.5 hours packing it all away I vowed I'd just sleep in the van if we did it again.
Have fun and everyone else who's going. We met some lovely people there last year! Not least the OP!

We do a lot of social event camping, so need a big tent, carpets seemed like a good idea at the time, and then though ohhhh a fridge, that would be handy... went downhill from there |
