I might get a few eye rolls at this but hey, if I don't ask I won't find out (and yes, I am a smoker)
What do smokers do at clubs / meets? I'm guessing that there are some clubs that would have a no-smoking policy if they fall under this new law? Do they - and if so, is there somewhere private outside? (pahahaha thinkin about it, would be hilarious to walk past a place and see a few people stood on the pavement outside in kinky boots and dressing gowns freezing their bits off)
Is there a room? Or does it just depend on what type of meet / club you go to?

i find the smoking area is a much more social, relaxed place and you're more likely to get chatting to people in that area, 1 club i went to had a completely covered off smoking area which was pretty busy with smokers and non-smokers alike, good place to go to escape if the club gets to hot. noisy etc. |

We wish at Kestrels there were some tables you could eat your food where smoking is banned. It's nice to take lunch but it's just a bit ruined.
Each to there own on the smoking front we just don't want smoked sarnies!!

That and in order to get from the top to the bottom of the club you have to walk through this area. Each to their own is fine, just wish it was like that. |

The clubs I've been to have an area outside and it is a great place to get chatting to people. It's the same as in nightclubs and pubs, most of the peeps inside are talking to their friends, but pop outside and everyone seems to be talking to new peeps. |

Cupids smoking area is basically stood outside the club, as is Tease 2. Which is a bit pants. Xtasia has the best smoking area I've ever been in.
Alternative solution - change to e-cigs. It's not illegal to vape in pubs and clubs. Yet! |

"Its our only critism of Chams that it stinks of smoke from the smoking area which is really horrible, and of course you also get the smelly train of people trouping back into the club. "
It's the same at Isis in Leeds although they have a smoking room. It is illegal to smoke indoors, even in 'private' members clubs. |
