Myself and a friend are thinking of going to the Isis for a Wednesday couples afternoon . Anyone been ?? I've noticed they have a new website and no reviews . Wondering if this really is a good idea ?  |

I haven't been on a Wed aft for years but always had a good time when I did. Not sure why a new website makes it a bad idea though.
A club review will only tell you what the reviewer felt. If you want to find out how much you enjoy the club its best to find out in the flesh, so to speak. |

Thanks for your reply .... It's not the new website that I thought was making it a bad idea it was the site not having any reviews that is giving me cause for concern. I will still go and fingers crossed as it will be our first time x |

You should go,it is a very friendly welcoming club. Let Dave (the owner) know it is your first time and he will show you around and introduce you to the other members. Hope you go and have lots of fun x |

We have been a few wednesdy evenings, honestly think it is fine there. Sometimes a little quiet but everyone is very friendly, the single men we have encountered there have been very nice and respectful. We do prefer our other local club but Isis has the bonus of being open midweek and not too expensive. Don't really have any complaints about it. |

An independent review.....
its what you contribute to avin a fun time in any clube if iam in area il take a trip there Ive all ways had a funtime when indulged isis livly and lovly folk my second home Yorkshire  |

"Never been on a Wed afternoon but we've tried it several times at night and each time decided to give it 'one more chance'. No more.
It's now top of the 'avoid' list.
But each to their own!"

We love Wednesday afternoons at Isis. It's free for couples which is always a bonus. We have met some great couples and singles there, some of them are regulars.
We may get there today if we aren't too busy.
What do you have to lose? Give it a try and we are sure you will enjoy it. |

The other club local to us is La Chambre in Sheffield, but only open friday/saturday/sunday nights. There is a monthly afternoon party held once a month by a single lady on here but never tried that out as we are not free on afternoons  |

The club was once registered for reviews on this site. But the fact was that the avalanche of reviews absolutely and consistently slated the place, so the club had the Fab reviews removed.

Its true that the reason the club is not on the club page is that they requested to be removed. Its not true that it was because tall the reviews were bad. The reason is because they got a poor review from someone who did not attend the club and Fab would not remove the review.
Now we've got that straightened out lets go back to giving people who want to know correct info, not crappy info. |

Not quite what we were told when we asked in Isis as to why, but how would you know if someone who reviewed it had not attended the club? We've never yet been asked for our Fab ID on entering a Club!
But yes there was a lot of tittle-tattle between A&Gs(now defunct) and Isis.
But what do people want? It differs so much. Some love Isis, some loathe it.
The only way is to go and check out a place yourself but reviews(or lack of) do paint a picture. |

Isis is a great club,very friendly and none pushy. The reason it was taken of the review section here is because,some one who used to be a regular had a disagreement with the owner and started a bad mouth campaign. The club has rules like any other club,and if you break them you suffer the same fate as anyone else,just because you go regular doesnt mean you can do as you like.
The only way to make your mind up about a club is to go along yourself and make up your own mind,not all clubs are for everyone. |

How exactly are you judging and comparing the levels of discernment at different clubs? And what do you conclude about those confused people who attend both Isis and Youtopia? |
