I'm working in Cumbria over the summer and I'm going to need some entertainment in the evenings.
I've already scoped out places to continue my pole lessons but as far as I'm aware my choices for a club are limited. The closest ones on the list here seem to be Cheshire and Lancashire direction.
Am I missing some secret place conveniently close to Carlisle or Kendal? Anywhere lakes based really. And no caravans, I mean bricks and mortar clubs |

hi there . well it seems you have done your research and youre correct in saying that your options are very limited in cumbria ! im afraid that there are no dedicated swingers clubs that i know of in the area . i have been to ones in lancashire which are good .maybe if anyone knows of any venues they will post on here

Nothing that I know of either in Cumbria - more sheep than swinger clubs up here!
Do consider both Infusion in Blackpool and the Gatehouse in Bolton for swinger club visits - about equal distance from the Lakes and both are easy access off the Motorway system.
There's also No3 in Chorley but I've never been there.
Check l these clubs in the Fab clubs section - all are listed there plus more in the Manchester area.

I get over to Cumbria on business and have never come across a club. Saying that everyone I have met have all been very friendly. If you want to PM me I can let you know where I stay, if you want a decent hotel |

You'll have to get behind me...my business plan is ready and I've already picked a venue for once I win the lottery. 
I can confirm that there's bog all in Cumbria...Carlisle has a couple of gay/TV bars which are a good laugh but that is it.
I mostly travel (if I can't lure anyone to Arse End), was in your home town t'other weekend plus Leeds, Manchester and Blackpool...
Anyhow, enjoy yourself in my lovely county, even though I whinge about it, I'm allowed cos I'm local |

Until you're no longer referred to as an "off-comer"...usually after 4 generations or 60 years, whichever comes first (and in the more "rural" areas, new generations crop up regularly) |

Until you're no longer referred to as an "off-comer"...usually after 4 generations or 60 years, whichever comes first (and in the more "rural" areas, new generations crop up regularly) "

depends where abouts in cumbria you are... if you are in west cumbria, then yes you will likely be looking at lancashire and blackpool....
if you are in for example carlisle... your closest quickest club may well be club f in newcastle..... straight down a69.... |

The place we are thinking of is a huge disused pub four miles south of Carlisle on the back Pentith road....go to the racecourse and keep traveling for a couple of miles.... |

That's nigh on 2 hours from Arse End so there'll be plenty of room for both yours and my club |

I know that place on the Durdar Road left hand side. .
Go for it. Private large and plenty of parking. Close to motorway.

The big thing you have to remember is that Cumbria only got running water and electricity in the last decade, so a swinging club is unfortunately not at the top of the list of things to arrive here.
The day that it does, we shall be there throwing our clothes off as we go, but until then have to make do with travelling

There used to be club in Carlisle, Club Velvet?, but it was raided and shut down by the police and council  check out some of the local Cumbrian couples profiles as several seem to host 'friends' parties of their own |

No secrets I'm afraid, Clubf in the North East, No3 at Chorley or Blackpool will be closest but if you are out in the wild west, each of those will be a 2 hour plus drive. Give me a shout if you need more up to date travel news.... |

we had a club it was not raided
It was a gay health club and once the council found out it was open to swingers thay soon in forced the licence it had and pointed out thay had to close at 8pm
The owners tried hard to get the opening house changes as it was busy with the swingers but the council would not let them The local churches had a big say in it as it was them who told the papers and council
Its a shame as it was good too
A year ago a local had a place just right for a club he had a look into it but the council just keep making it impossible |
