Hi all,
We're hopefully off to Chams this Friday for the St Trinians night.
We've got a 9 seater and often think it seems daft not lift sharing with others. Especially when clubs like Chams have packed car parks.
So is this a good idea? If so how best do you advertise it?
Obviously pit falls are that you may all want to leave at different times and also if the driver cancels at the last min - but then if you couldn't get there anyway, maybe not the end of the world?
Just floating the idea, could be crap - must of mine are!
Saying that Kate seemed to like the idea of being shut in the back with 8 others! Lol.

Well looks like people maybe up for it but I agree could be more hassle than it's worth !
Oh well if anyone needs a lift on Friday give us a shout.
And look forward to seeing everyone there! It's a fun theme so should be good.

"Lift sharing is always a great idea.... I often need lifts and I offer a fuel contribution, it's a great way to go in a group though or get to know a few more fabsters.

I have tried offering lifts when popping up the M5 from Cheltenham ! Had a few takers over the years but the problem is for people who haven't met it can be a difficult trust issue - who's to say the driver isn't going to bugger off without you at 11 because he has struck out or embarrassed themselves - or perhaps the person you have taken has buggered off into a room instead of leaving with you. Hard enough to deal with one other couple trying to get 4 all working us as someone said hearing cats I fear. |

"Well my offers always there, if I'm going and you need a lift just drop me a message " can I also add, I'm happy to provide a lift but will not be used as a form of cheaper entry. You must have your own membership. |

Ok
Another go with this...
Lift offered up M5 from Gloucester to chams on Wednesday 20th or Thursday 21st - so any couples or dare I say single females fancy going but can't get there and live close to the M5 give me a shout. Up around 7.30 back at 12 -1 ish.
Nothing expected or offered just a loft and maybe platonic company.
