"I get the 1 in the changeing rooms to look at the lockers but maybe a sign up saying that but the one in the play room??????" There is no cameras in any of the play rooms,,,,years ago there was one in the top room which was signposted on the door of that room and was screened in the jail behind the pool table....but that was taken out months and months ago!! | |||

"Can't see cupids saying they are there I can't see why they would need them?" Google their phone number and ask them directly. Don't forget to give "liar of the year" to the person (if he/she exist) who "told you" there are cameras in play rooms | |||

I have been going to Cupids for a while has a single lady, I have never seen a camera in any play room only the one covering the lockers for security, they don't even allow mobile phones or even handbags within the club to stop anybody taking photos or hiding a camera in the bag  | |||

The mangers are fully within their rights to secure the premises from theft and also any other illegal activity in communal areas! There's is NO cameras on filming equipment with any playrooms. The couple in question blew it out of proportion when asked if a camera/phone was being concealed.. They reacted badly and made a scene, sure they will be happy to know the night was still a huge success without them and sure that silly little rumours and remarks won't damage such a great club like Cupids... "we went to cupids quite a while ago before we started clubbing again and we have used the exhibition room when it was there and loved putting on shows. just to clarify to everyone that there were signs all around the room door frame before you entered the room in question. these signs were in high viz yellow and black strips. quoting cctv play room. dont think that many people used it so maybe thats why they took it away. as for the camera that is watching my belongings in my locker, please keep them. think this is one of the best clubs for their security. never heard of cameras in any of the playrooms though and never seen them. think someone might have spat their dummy out from last night as the club wouldnt let her keep her phone with her. Well we do go a lot and the cameras are not imaginary are they there is 1 in the changeing room which is not a issue. But when your told there is 1 hidden in a play room we thought asking if any one else had heard this was a good idea. Clearly it was not a good idea as you seem to only want to put people down. This is a place for discussion about clubs. So accusing the op of having 'other motives' actually comes across as the 'regulars' defending the club.
It's a valid discussion and it's only the 'regulars' trying to turn the thread into a farce 
The 'regulars' have actually put us off going up, the camera issue was a simple question and answer. As to why the club feel the need for security there.... maybe they should invest in better lockers or trim out some of their clients | |||

One was because of the things they provided, such as hair dryers and hair straightners being constantly stole. The cameras also work for those who take drugs inside clubs. Many reasons, other than security of lockers. The regulars have nothing to defend, other than STATE THE FACTS. If the OP made their opening post clear, or even better, the couple putting avoid the club, on their status, then others wouldn't be doing threads on their behalf. | |||

As to why the club feel the need for security there.... maybe they should invest in better lockers or trim out some of their clients "while we are on the subject of lockers, which by the way are fantastic, there have been many an occasion people have accidently left their key in them, or left a phone on the side.....now if there was no CCTV, how would you know what actually happened to said phone IF (and thats a big if) it did get stolen, or some belongings went missing out of the locker that was left open?  | |||

As to why the club feel the need for security there.... maybe they should invest in better lockers or trim out some of their clients "I believe they invested in brand new lockers last year, and regarding trimming out some of their clients how do you do that?, I can imagine the faces of new members if the club said we would be doing police background checks on all new members, because apart from that it's a trust issue and I don't doubt with any club the wrong people manage to join, thus the extra security for the lockers, good on the club for looking after my valuables. | |||

"wow everyone take a chill pill, this was a valid thing to ask by the OP!! Sure this is an emotive subject people love cupids and enjoy going, but being filmed without their knowledge wouldn't be good and if someone asks a valid question then answer it accordingly, don't attack them for asking a valid question. I've been to cupids and its a club for paying people and not always will people like it and will say so, if they give a bad review etc then so be it. big f**king deal!! This has really turned into a joke"Nobody said you were having a pop at them, what I said was you made assertions based on 2nd hand hearsay that could damage the reputation of the club causing them to lose clientele, which was probably why you got banned, and you carried on with this over a few posts which might have looked to some people you had a hidden agenda , you have been informed by the regulars that there are no cameras in “any” playrooms, only the one in the changing room pointed at the lockers, with that in mind maybe it’s best to drop this matter. | |||

"Happy to drop it still don't see why we are banned I asked a quistion got a replay of sorts which I was happy with. The next min I have people having a go at me on private messages.
