Single men and Libertys.

I know I put this in another thread but it's getting lost in the postings.
Here's what I wrote earlier...
"I have just this second got off the phone with John and he said it was fine for me to tell you our conversation.
As from the end of the month, single guys will no longer be able to attend Libertys. He is planning to try to call all of them. Existing single men members ARE welcome to attend this Friday at a much reduced rate.
Single women remain welcome
The website and forum is being worked on as we speak." |

I really don't know what to think Top. It's my nearest club and although I don't go there all that much, I like the single men there. I might go on Friday. |

Can see that the 15th Feb is couples only but earliest we can make is 22nd Feb but will that also be a couples only night ?"
As of this saturday, every night will be a couples only night. |

Libertys is now only for couples and single women. I was there last night and spoke at length with the owner about this. However, Libertys may have problems with the odd bloke now and again but let me assure you, the single men there are quite versed in the correct etiquette and do not follow anybody around.
John assures me the website will be updated very soon and the forum should be open again by the end of the month. |

i would not go and especially if after while the profits go down and then say singles allowed back hope folk wake up smell the coffee and give place a wide berth. |

Libs is our nearest club and with a couples only policy we will not be going near the place and neither will many other couples who attend clubs to play with single guys/girls. Can't see this policy lasting long, surely better to have couples only nights, and nights when singles can attend rather than a blanket ban. As a commercial decision it is foolish, it reduces the captive audience and will probably result in a club now closed announcement when the owners are not making any money. |

Has the guy said anything about how he intends making up for the revenue that single guys bring in?
Are admission prices for couples having to go up to cover the financial shortfall? |

My nearest club but would now never go as I only look for single men in clubs.
Hope all those guys that paid this years annual membership have asked for a refund, know I certainly would in their shoes.

Well, as a couple who love clubs, but hate singles nights, we'll now be joining up. Friday nights are the best night for us to play, we prefer clubs, but every club seems to be singles nights Fridays and couples only Saturdays.

Will be harder to get the money back. There is a promise to call the singles and refund the membership on a pro-rata basis. Knowing that when I went there last Friday asked the £40 entrance fee to be waved what was close to the money I would in theory receive back. Shame as I always enjoyed the greedy girls on Fridays. |

At lease he has stopped single men and single women.... if women arn't actually allowed.
So next he needs to stop fb/fwb couples, because well they are actually single men and single women.
We wont be going anyways.
We wont be going, even when they allows singles again. |

we love single guys in a club. We find most are well mannered and give the club a different atmosphere. Rarely a single jerk gets in but a good manager would notice him and not let him in or remove him if he becomes a pest. And like mentioned before they keep a couples prices lower.  |

Did I just see a single guy offer to buy a drink in liberties! There's a first from here's £8:70 change from your £10 deposit. Did you know you blew £1.30 on water, only for yourself of course |
