After a lot of speculation we can confirm we will be opening a brand new club in Colchester.
We are aware that this forum is not for advertisements and our intention is not to advertise yet as we are at least two or three months from opening but due to the amount of interest in the club we thought we would pop a post up to give you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
We are just waiting for the powers that be to give us the green light and we will be able to give you all more information, it is however looking really good and the first stages of creating the club have been completed and can honestly say it is looking great.
Our aim is to have an intimate, friendly members only club which is relaxed and fun. We will have two levels downstairs with a lounge, VIP area and bar. Upstairs will be our very sexy play areas.
The emphasis will be on the social side of swinging so people can come along, chill out, have fun and get to know each other is a really friendly atmosphere.
If you do have any questions please feel free to ask either in the forum or privately.

Hi, we have had to travel quite a long way to visit a club too so think a local one is need, we will look forward to meeting you both in a few months time then hopefully.
Will keep everyone up-to-date with the latest news and post photos when we have them.

No, we have been upfront with the local authorities and they know what our plans are, initially they were concerned over the noise and parking within the local area but this has been dealt with so we don't anticipate any problems.

Well done guys keeping our fingers crossed you get the green light to open up did notice the local rag covering the planing application and the not in my back yard brigade saying it's morally wrong ;-(

Thank you so much for your comment and support.
It has been very interesting reading people's comments in the press some of them have been really funny and very supportive we have realised though a lot of local people are scared of the unknown but we have done our best to alleviate their fears.
From discussions with the Council we don't think we should have any problems getting the green light, but will keep everyone informed.

February 14th is the last day people can post objections, the Council (we hope) will give us a decision at the end of February.
We will let you know as soon as we get any information.
"I think the local paper said people had until Feb 14th to object or was that the day the council will give a decision ? X"

We will try and get down there as soon as we are able.
Can you give an overview of what the club will be like? The kind of style and feel your going for and what kinds of nights your going to be offering?

Just a quick update..
We anticipate Mingles will be opening it's doors at the beginning of May, we are in the process of finalising a few details and will publish them on our lovely new website in the next couple of weeks.
Mingles will have an intimate, sensual and elegant feel with a fun, friendly atmosphere.
The emphasis will be on the social side of swinging including a lounge, VIP and bar area with the option of taking things further upstairs in our lovely play areas.
We will be hosting a variety of events which are listed on our profile plus much more..

We will let everyone know as soon as we have a date, will be the end of June, beginning of July. If you have sent us your email address we will let you know via our newsletter.
We do allow single guys but due to the high volume of single guys who would like to visit the club we can only accept a limited number, only the most polite, respectful, verified or recommended single guys will be allowed to become a member.
All places on the guest will have to be booked in advance so we have the right balance of sexy peeps in the club.
We can't wait to open and it's coming along really nicely, it has taken a little longer than we thought but we are almost there and its looking fab !
