Maybe try giving the club a ring if you have no answers here - their number is on the website, I chatted to a really helpful bloke when I phoned a while back.

Localish hotels would be The Village in Bromborough.
There's also several Premier Inns the nearest also being in Bromborough too and others on New Brighton and Greasby plus also heswall and Little sutton known as Burleydam.
The two hotels on Bromborough are at a guess about a fiver for a taxi each way and about 5 to 10 minutes drive. The one in Greasby is about a tenner for a taxi and new Brighton a little more. All have car parking though not sure if there's a charge at new Brighton.
