What more do you want in Gloucester ?

Our local club , The Lodge in Gloucester , has recently started a new type of fun night on Fridays .
Free entry
Cheap bar
Plenty of free parking
Private premises , yet simple to find .
Option to pay just a tenner to use the playrooms
So , what is there to discuss I hear you say !
Expecting the place to be packed we went last night and ..........
Well believe it or not it was probably the quietest night ever !
So our question is this - what more can a club do to get more through the door ?
We have no connection to the club other than enjoying the place , and this is a serious question .
We were genuinely staggered at the lack of numbers last night so to the fellow swingers in Gloucestershire- what would get you to support your local club ? |

If we could we would have been there! But Beth's away this w/e and Friday's are harder anyway for travel. For us Saturdays are usually easier after busy weeks.
I know this doesn't help the club, but it may also be a factor for other needing to travel. We're hoping to be there next Saturday |

I would imagine the first few weekends in January are by far the quietest for every club. Probably more a reflection of the time of year than the club's appeal. |

Also the club is sadly lacking a New romantic themed evening with the guys dressed like Bowie in "the hunger" , and a big projector screen showing all those long adult versions of pop videos, "girls on film" etc etc. however The lodge is not the only club with this problem! |

I think single guys have to go on wednesday for a social. |

Single guys have to be pre approved by attending a Wednesday social i think . And numbers are limited , hopefully not too limited though as we love them ! |

I think this is why they are offering free entry on Fridays ....All the more puzzling that it isn't packed . And yes , it is a great club |

Yes the fri is free but people still have to pay for fuel to get there, babysitters, drinks and £10 if they want to play.....it is just the time of year where everyone is skint!
We love the Lodge but it is more of a social club and as playtime is limited for us we often choose a less vannila club.

And accomodation at the travelodge. Even free, for my wife and i a night would cost over £100.
We love eyes wide shut in sutton, but hotel alone is around £130, we just don't have that amount of disposable income to make more than a couple of trips per year. |

been twice and the hosts ate very friendly as are most of the people.
bar area is good but the orgy room could do with modernising.
lots of nylon sheet coverd mattresses is not the most arousing we seen.
a bit more like chams at darlaston would be nice x |

Went out with colleagues on Sat 04 Jan in Bath city centre, and it was very quiet too, and I suspect that was the case for the rest of the country, and not just at clubs.
