have just heard that pennant hall is swapping the Saturday night swingers night to a Friday, from in the day to 11 at night!
we will not be able to attend again and think it is a real shame and I know others who will not be able to attend on a Friday also
we really liked going to pennant hall once a month, but it is now going to be a thing of the past for us
such a shame |

Its not going to be s couple's night either on a Friday, I cant understand why they dont carry on with a couples Saturday night even If they only have It four or six times a year? surely that would be well supported for the Saturday nightd to continue?. |

It's a bi night on the Fri for bi couples, fems, TV's and guys.....same as it is on Tues.
We didn't really enjoy the Sat nights and they we're a bit too cheesy and cliquey!
We're hoping to attend the Fri bi nights as we know a few other bi couples that already go on the Tues |

We can't really attend Friday nights due to work, will be such a shame if we can't go anymore. We shall have to see how it goes. We enjoyed the Saturday's when we went, it is a lovely club xx |

From a club owner perspective, Friday's are just getting quieter all the time. People haven't got the money to spend on a Friday and Saturday night out, so people tend to edge their bets on the Saturday being busier. I think this could be a bad move for Pennant. I do however agree with ditching the couples night. This seems to be less and less in demand. We tried it for a year and never got a huge uptake...other clubs have been the same. The only place that still has a very busy couples night is Chams and even then it's not their usual numbers. If the Saturdays were working out, then they should have kept them, unless their is a business reason for changing of course.
All I would say is, for those who love Pennant, try your utmost to attend the Fridays when you can, because the old adage is oh so right....if you don't use it, you lose it. Clubs need support more than ever now and I am sure Pennant have had a good reason to change their night.
Good luck to Pennant, I really do hope your members support this change

It should be noted that as with Chams both Xstasia and Atlantis Evaluation hold couples only night on a Saturday. Having been to all, we prefer couple only nights, we can say that on the nights we've visited they have always been busy to very busy. The main problem for Pennant is the catchment area, being on the North Wales coast requires some travelling to get there and than back home again. |

Pennant Hall has never had 'couples only' nights....what it did have was monthly sat night swingers nights. We're not sure why these have been stopped but the club must have had it's reasons! It may be that as Pennant Hall is a gay sauna (it isn't and has never claimed to be a swingers club) that they feel moving to twice weekly bi days is more in keeping with there regular clientele.
As a bi couple this is perfect for us and we're really looking forward to regularly attending, but we can see why some couples are disappointed that the sat nights have stopped. |

The issue for us is not that it is no longer a couples night. As far as we were aware, the club welcomed couples, women and men... straight, bi or gay. Yes, they capped the amount single men could attend, but this is like many clubs.
We find it disappointing that the club closes at midnight, which means it is almost pointless us going for 3 hours. When you take into account finishing work, going home, getting ready and getting there you we are looking at 9pm at least.
Hopefully we will be able to go at some point xx |

Saturday night wasn't just a couples night, it was for everyone (I attended as a single fem and there were other singles as well, male and female). Also, I can't see why couples are complaining that they can't go (I don't mean those that are saying they can't go because of the change of night) as I can't see anywhere that it says that couples are no longer welcome or am I misreading the line 'those happy to socialise with bi people'. Does 'happy to socialise with bi people' mean that you have to be bi to play there as well??? xx |

There have been a lot of complaints about Pennant Hall stopping the swinging nights and people thought that they shouldn't be allowed to keep their 'advert' on here.

"That's a bit crap, after all Is it not still a swingers club?"
Exactly my thoughts.
Pennant always welcomed everyone from staright to gay to bi and all others. That's why we like attending as everyone is welcome.
Like in amy club or party, if someone doesn't take your fancy don't play with them.

Seems a bit harsh to take their listing down because a few people moaned that they couldn't make it on a friday!! what if all the single guys complained about a club having a cpls only night!!! Bet they would not get removed!!!
Double standards in our "inclusive" society or coincidence?? |

Hi everyone I'm a reg at pennant I was told by the management that the reason it has stopped the swingers night on the Saturday is that it wasn't getting enough support of the couples.
If enough people attended the Saturdays this wouldn't have happened.
I'm sure a lot of couples will enjoy the Friday especially as they could book a room to stay over night and the rooms are not that expensive. Look forward to meeting you guys there one night xxxx Rebecca |

The club was removed from the 'club section' as the club asked for it to be removed....fab didn't remove it
It's well worth a visit and we had a great day there on Tues and met lots of lovely people.
You don't have to be bi to attend, just open minded and accepting of bisexuality

An hours drive for us after leaving work, getting ready leaves poss an hour there. So no chance to enjoy club, chill out for a bit or mingle, let alone have fun. Shame as we enjoyed visits when we could. |
