Sad loss to Midlands Scene

West Bromwich

I'm afraid to report that 3 outstanding figurines within the Midlands Swing Scene have been lost. The 3 mannequins based in various corners of Xtasia, have been the subject of so much theft of hands, clothes, wigs, etc. over the last few months, we've had to withdraw them from their various duties.

I know most of you will join me in wishing the perpetrators a Crap New Year

Manchester Area

I thought it was nightclubs you went to, to get off your face, legless and have some armless fun?

Does that mean the cage at the top of the stairs will have a vacancy???

I'm with you in wishing all the cleptomaniacs a very crappy new year and let me offer to dish out some punishment if I catch anyone pinching anything from my beloved dungeoun

How about hiring a couple of those people that stand motionless in shopping centres covered in paint or whatever.

Get them to pose in a corner, then when anybody tries to nick a bit off them they "come to life" all suddenly !!

Mind, I'd only risk it on a "doctors and nurses" night if you had some real medics around !

Very sorry to read this. It's a shame that in all aspects of life petty theft exists. I guess the perpetrators of this crime believed that stealing one item was immaterial and a bit like souvinier hunting as you might "keep" a bath towel from a posh hotel, the problem being that the bill adds up to a lot of money in the end.

Keep smiling though Xtasia and maybe you can find new homes for them for example behind the bar or even install display units into the new couples room walls where they can be kept safe behind glass.

Have you checked lost property at the Prem Inn?

Maybe they didn't find any company at the club and needed 'a hand' back at the hotel?

Seriously though - get some new ones and cover them in a thick layer of anti-climb paint!

Thieving buggers!!

Sadly theft seems to be on the increase, we had so much stuff going "walkies" that we have installed extra CCTV and it's already paid dividends (you know who you are , and so do we now !!)

I'm gutted that they had to go, they were the only 3 people that would always keep listening to me when I'd had a few too many Fosters
