OP4FUN last Saturday (21st)

Hey everyone, so we've done it, we've been to our first club night and whilst we were mildly terrified to start we both loved it and cant stop talking about it
Please drop us a line if you were there as we'd love to talk it through with others 
not sure on the next steps but ab fabs, the VA or the hellfire could be good options - any thoughts? |

We have been to hell fire club once in October 2011 on a Saturday and it was quiet.
Ab Fabs can be busy and is a huge place in terms of physical size. There is no bar and our wine got stolen from the fridge but had good play.
We have been VA a few times and it has a bar and probably more up market in feel to Ab Fabs.
Ab Fabs and VA are both couples only on Saturdays, which suits some couples. We prefer Fridays. |

Your unlikely to find a club as friendly as Ourplace4fun in the south though."
thanks good advice - what about party nights (ie city slickers) Are they very different to club nights?
so many possibilities...  |

It's a bit further afield than the clubs you have mentioned but you might want to consider the FAB social at Xtasia in West Brom on Saturday 1st February. There's a thread under meets about it.
Xtasia is a fabulous night club style club very large with its own licensed bar. It's definately well worth checking out sometime.

"We have been to a few clubs and to be honest found OP4F to be tiny! Sometimes that is a good thing but on the night we went there were so many people there was no room to play"
there wasn't that many people there on the night we went, we actually could have done with a few more I think but I can see how it would get crowded pretty quickly x |

Can I recommend Eureka ? Have a read down of my profile and my club reviews. Eureka is different to OP4F - thats very " in your face" with no locks on doors etc ( although I still like it ) - Eureka is massive ( 200+ peeps on Sat night ) and has a truly magnificent party atmosphere - with play more discreet x its a wonderful friendly place x |

Guys thanks so much for all the advice. We're far from decided but we're looking forwards to trying a few nights out. I think in the short term ab fabs will win because of how close we are to it but fully expect to keep Eurekas, OP4fun and the VA on our to do list.
Merry Xmas everyone and hopefully we'll bump into you all in 2014 - it looks like it's going to be an exciting year!

Eureka does sound like a fantastic venue. We're looking to meet couples, and notice that many of the reviews suggest there are often rather "too many" single guys (we realise that "too many" is entirely subjective of course). Are there particular days or events at Eureka which are more m:f balanced? We'd love to try it and stay over! |
