We are thinking of going on a Saturday night, however it sounds like a young crowd. We are 44, but still slim and athletic with our own hair and teeth. Will we feel out of place? |

OK we are a bit older than you, but we gave up on the Saturday nights there.
While there are a few 40's and 50's the vast majority are 20's and 30's. We much prefer the themed Fridays or the Sundays now.
Having said that it's now a couple of years since we last went on a Saturday and some Dutch friends told us that the new owners are trying to make the Saturdays a bit more mixed on the ages.
We are in Holland (Amsterdam) this weekend and are going to give Fata Morgana a try and maybe Paradise club as well. |

At the risk of sounding immodest, we are fairly good looking and fit for our age. Also we are new to this, so wouldn't want to swap - just voyeurism, exhibitionism and soft play.
our concern is looking like fish out of water, with a younger crowd wondering what we are doing there.
Fridays may be a better option! |

maybe the nederlands and fun4two is the way forward, dont find much of it in the UK. |

thanks. I take it from that, that being a bit older may make hooking up with others harder, but being there wont be embarrassing. |

It's not whether it's the way forward or not, it's called catering to the clientèle. If the majority of swingers in the UK are 40's and 50's then it's no wonder that is who the clubs want to attract.
This follows on from the debate on the other thread, maybe if there were clubs like Fun4two in the UK a younger crowd would be more likely to attend. |

Thanks, it sounds ideal for our first time: plush, not seedy, and far enough away to feel like another world with no risk of bumping into someone we know. Which is a concern for my wife, albeit irrational. |

Yes I would think that is about right.
The age range on the Fridays is generally a bit older. There are still some 20's 30's but not quite as many as on the Saturday's and there are more 40's 50's |

Plush it most certainly is, seedy it isn't. Fun4two is arguably the best club in Europe, and to be honest if you've never been before it probably doesn't matter which night you go. It will still be quite a shock to the senses.
BTW Maybe you already know, but remember there is no need to eat before you go, the restaurant is excellent, and don't forget your passport. On your 1st visit they require ID for your membership |

Based on the ages of people we have seen at clubs more recently, I think actually the age averages over here are gradually decreasing, albeit very slowly, but we've seen alot of swingers younger than us for sure and at our local club on Couples Only night its way lower than the UK average for sure. |
