"Cant comment about _tasia yet as always been chams. We will see this weekend " ;) I don't want to raise your expectations because everyone is different, but to us it has everything x

"i think you will find chameleons is the most talked about club in the midlands " I agree

"Were they both wet or dry clubs then a comparison could be viable. They however are very different venues Each has its selling points " I think _tasia could now be classed as a wet AND dry club
"I dont think it benefits the scene at all to have pissing contents between the patrons of different clubs here. Try to be objective, promote and by all means love your club but things like is the BEST CLUB IN XXX AREA when there are several in said area will just lead to bitterness and angst. This isnt a comment about any of the above as we have not been to either. " We are regulars at 2 clubs and have a favourite but that is just a personal preference and recognise that neither is better, just different. A thread like this can only end up as a pissing contest because the opening post is, in my opinion, as provocative as it is emotive.
"Some people totally over analyse things...relax! Stop being so politically(scenically) correct and except someone likes something you dont :D BE HAPPY! Let's get moist!" Where does political correctness come in to it?

Only to people narrow minded who see it as an insult rather then a personal opinion People who are on there high horse and over opinionated who just want someone to disagree and make a scene rather then just say...."fair play that's your opinion we think otherwise, but good on you for voicing your opinion and taking full adavtage of free speech :D
"Some people totally over analyse things...relax! Stop being so politically(scenically) correct and except someone likes something you dont :D BE HAPPY! Let's get moist! Where does political correctness come in to it?" I said this becuase I didn't want to just say sceneincally correct because I would of been criticised for that... But now I've realised I'm on the inet and if someone says something someone doesn't like no matter what you say its wrong

Or being narrowminded?
"this is a club discussion forum your op was well a pile of Yes you can have a personal opinion, no you cant expect other people on a forum to agree with it. If you dont want people to respond to a public forum, dont post " I dont mind people having opinions like you say that's what this is for but, its when people just try and bash your opinion and are convinced there opinion is right and yours is wrong which is why I started my post with "personal opinion" people can say well you might think that but we think blah blah blah soin so, or whatever it should be a discussion not a tennis match buuut ill never win sooooo, Seeee you at PHUKT 2! ;p

"I just see an over excited person" Lol I see that as a compliment What's wrong with being happy :p

"OP. I will be visiting that club soon. I would love to hear why you rate it so highly. Xx" from our view you won't be disappointed but we're not promoters don't take us as high expectations its just forum warriors who have hyped this post up more then needed! Just make your own judgement and I'm sure you won't be disappointed. If you are then that's your choice ......hmmmm why am I willing to accept that but no one else is willing to? So am I the one whose wrong here?

"having not held any interest in attending clubs i cant really understand why people cant just make a post saying 'i like club XXXX because......' why do things have to be a pissing contest? i really dont get it at all if its a problem then post up a thread stating love for another club too. why not. however, having been told many thing about a few different clubs by many people, we are actually interested in trying _tasias karaoke night. not for the playing, but purely for the singing. if we do anything more then we do, if not then we will enjoy ourselves. as far as we know, no other club is offering this at this moment in time. so love it or hate it, i have no opinion. we just go where best suits our requirements." We love Kareoke.

"We too hate these discussions as they only end up dividing us all. Personally glad we have two of the best clubs in the West Midlands pretty damn close to each other, so visitors can get to both easily over a weekend, and see what they think of each. Both are very different and offer completely different experiences. About time we sat down with Nick and sorted out a weekender ticket Handling a couple of the comments though, yes the Sleaze has long gone, first thing we did. We now have a cinema downstairs rather than a video room. Its not commercial spam, as posted by a club member, who we love lots, lol, but don't really wish for posts like this as mentioned a few times in reviews. We agree the club is so large it can feel quite empty when we have anything less than 100 in, a number most clubs would kill for most evenings. We actually find the quieter nights can end up being better for those who do make the effort. There is one single lad on here who comes along regularly, and always asks how many people are in at the door. I normally tell him and he then makes up his mind if he's coming in or not. Friday nights I normally give him something like 30 couples in and 20 guys. The other night he turned up on our new Weds night really early and I told him only 4 people in. He nearly walked away, but for some reason turned around and came in. The two couples in, plus him had a great night, with no other singles as competition! Think that is the actual answer to the OP...it all depends on the people, on the night, to create these memories you refer to. One or two people can change the entire outcome of a night, where ever you are. " Definitely not seen anything like sleaze to put us off - and has always been welcoming. Bar prices are great - and on busier nights the dance floor full of sexy women a definite draw ! On a busy night like Saturday or next weekend - just where will everyone play ? If either event held at chams then question would be where would everybody dance and socialise.

"Karaoke night? When is this then? Just looked through the next 8 months of events and can't see anything...." Its on our web site events page, and also on the Club Events Forum, just search under "Xtasia" and is on Monday the 16th Dec.

"The last thing we'd ever want to do is upset and or divide anyone." Don't let people wind you up. There's been "tribalism" over these two clubs for as long as they have been open. Everyone thinks that their favourite club is the best, and so it goes on. Just like West Bromwich Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers fans won't ever agree on which team is best (even if WBA are in the Premier League lol) you won't get agreement between the die hards of the these clubs either. The funny thing is, the number of people who are in one club on one day of the week and then at the other on another day...Kind of proves that both clubs are good and both are popular. Also have to disagree about Xtasia being "most talked about". There's usually plenty of "Chams on Wednesday", "Chams on Friday" "Chams in the Afternoon" etc threads running on the front page of this forum, so one in the eye there for anyone complaining about Xtasia getting hyped up for a change by this thread. Fabs has always been a friend of Chams (just have a look at the list of suggestions for how to update your status's) so "daring" to "big-up" what some perceive to be the "other lot" is bound to rattle some cages.

"You really do have issues with people and age don't you? why? just accept some people prefer people their age. you obviously look after yourselves,is that the crux.the fact you still want to mix with younger swingers and don't like the thought of them rejecting you on age. why not phukt _tasias attitude as a club is top notch.in a different league,no bitchyness towards rivals here un stoke its playground behavior between the clubs and regulars." It was a tongue in cheek comment, get over yourselves. No-one has 'rejected' us, in a club how the hell do you know what age anyone is by just looking at them? And that is the point. We certainly have no idea what all this Midlands club rivalry is all about, it doesn't exist in the North West and the clubs are closer together. Swinging is supposed to be inclusive. And aLl the clubs and people involved have a part to play.
