clubs who want i.d. i understand why they want it,but the problem i have is that i dont drive or have a passport.now one club said ok bring a utility bill.another snag,i dont have any,as its all online now.help!!! |

Utility bills,bank statements, phones bills etc are often on line now but easy enough to print them out and i would imagine most clubs would accept this in the age of technology we live in. |

I think they need it for Health & Safety if god forbid there is a fire or some disaster, there would be some record of who is in the club.

No because otherwise it would be a requirement of all pubs and clubs.
I suspect it is because most are (nominally at least) private members clubs and therefore the members need to be logged. |

A bank statement linked to the card you pay your admission with should be sufficient to prove who you are. |
