I've wanted to go to a club for ages... I've chatted to the owners of the local and stuff. I'd not planned anything tonight so I thought I'd go for a drive to THI in the Wirral.

I'm usually a confident guy but this is what i did 5 minutes ago:

Parked in the car park.. watched carpark.. ha! Checked cars to see if I know them... Walked up to the door of THI then walked back to the the car! Haha!

Wow! I never knew it would be this daunting!

Ha!

I am guessing it has to take some guts to walk in by yourself.

Is there anyone who will go with you?

Fair play mate it does take some balls to go in a club on your own . im looking for a club buddy and have been slated for it and told basically I shouldn't need someone to hold my hand , im not looking for a club buddy to pose as a couple to get on cheap ill pay single male rates

If I ever wanted to go to a club as a single man I would happily walking.

ONLY because I have been as a couple and know the ropes so to speak. If I hadn't been before I not sure I would have the stones to do it and fair play to you for admitting it.

Once you do bite the bullet you will wonder what the fuss was about. Good luck next time.

Well done lad you're one step further to doing it! I think you may be looking at it the wrong way. Just think of it as going to a party where you know the host. Just go in and mingle then talk to people. You being new is a good ice breaker! I am a single guy who is new to this right now and only found out 3 weeks ago clubs like this existed. I'm moving to London in two weeks and going to try one fuck it! If your about you are welcome to come along.

To be honest I felt the same way, but I met a great woman who held my hand and took me in. After that I wondered what is was worried about. Its a great night and the people are always friendly. After all they may want to play with you later, lol.

Its not lime walking in to a bar so e where you don't know, its like walking in to a party where they want to meet you.

Maybe you should attend one of the daytime parties at Townhouse. Its a greedy girl party, loads of single guys milling around so not so daunting when you get in.

But make the effort to say 'hello' to people and tell them you are a first timer and are very nervous. We have all been there, we still get nervous going into new places, its part of the fun.

We would certainly talk to you in a club. But remember just because a lady or couple chat to you it doesn't mean they are giving you the green light for fun.

Having said that this week at TH the fun had already started when we arrived.

Have fun.

Wow!!! I did it!

And also, re club buddies... Fella, if you want a club buddy - get one..... Fu*k everyone else!

It's was good. I actually didn't stay but had a look round and a chat. I got some naughty looks from a fit lady too! Maybe I should have stayed.

The owners are lovely and I was comfortable in less than 10 mins.

Good place and I'm glad I went! People were nice, etc.

Next time... Hehehe! Now I know what to expect, etc.

Yes its daunting but everyone in there will have been through the same. I can still remember the first time I got up the guts to walk in to a club in the midlands. Within a few minutes it started to get more relaxed though.

Ha, it did take balls, it really did... What's more though, women seem to understand that you have the confidence to go in. I was the youngest guy there I think. Most guys were about 40 ish.

The balance between m/f was ok too.

But anyway, when you realise that you don't know anybody there.... It just feels like a pub really.

A pub where a woman was taking it from behind infront of everybody. While sucking a guys cock..... Lol.

Was met at the door by 3 burly guys in what appeared to be gas masks, pleasant enough... come in come in, erm I bid a hasty retreat!

Did giggle on the way home though...

South Suffolk Area

I remember very well how we both felt the first time we went to a club, many years ago now but very vivid memories.

We had booked in for the weekend, staying in one of there rooms, I would say we walked to the door half a dozen or so times, then back to our room for a drink before we finally got the courage to go in, and that was only because the Doorman spotted us and started chatting :}

Your right it does take total, ahem 'balls' to do this. Im a single girl and always have been to clubs on my own. I absolutely s*** myself the first time I went to a club. But its right once you do it your like why was I so bothered? I find going to clubs so relaxing and people generally go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Its scary as hell but now you've been you will be fine next time

Have fun

Haha the same thing happened to me when i went to my first fetish club.

I parked the car, and walked up to the door and then i froze. I pressed the bell on the door, waited a little and began walking back to the car. Then i came back to the door and pressed it again but no one opened it.

Then a voice from a taxi behind me shouts 'dont worry mate, dont be nervous..doors open by the way. Enjoy'

...that was embarassing but funny lol

The first clubs I went to were in Amsterdam and Paris, and I think it was easier going to those than to the ones here! - something to do with being a stranger in a strange land and being able to pretend that I'd not quite understood what was going on or something!

Must admit its a little bit daunting when you first walk into the club, the wait as they check you are on the system, and then as you enter the club itself and a 100 eyes are checking out who has just walked in....

I think it can be daunting at first, but honestly once your in and chatting to folk you wonder what you were worrying about, just be polite, and wait until invited for fun if you are invited at all, if not relax and get to know people, thats what I did as well as being invited by a couple for fun, I go regularly now

Somewhere in North Norfolk

I've been to fetish clubs and to fetish parties alone so I don't think going to a swingers' club alone would phase me.

Being followed around, if that happened, might bother me - that wouldn't happen or wouldn't be allowed at a fetish club - but I'd face that if it happened.

I keep meaning to try AbFabs but haven't got round to it yet.

we talk to couples that say that they would not be able to walk into a club.most people think that you walk in and have people fucking right in from of you as you walk throw the door.we have been to about 15 clubs .some great some shit but all a night to rember would say just give it a go. also we would say as a couple that even if my wife was to like the look of a single man. if he was walking around the club with lots of other men we would never play with him.BUT THATS JUST US

GOOD LUCK

So funny that we're all giggling about our 'first time'...

I went to OP4F on a Sunday night, and wouldn't have made it to the door if I hadn't read the directions carefully...down an alleyway between some shops... Went into the pub at the top of the alley first, where of course I was utterly convinced that everyone in there knew I was a dirty pervert lol!

But once I'd taken a deep breath and strode up to the door, it was fine...

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

I was bad enough at my first ever forum social! It was at a pub called the Paper Moon in London and some 8 years ago now! It was bad enough for me as I was never a bloke to just go into a pub, let alone got into one with such a charged atmosphere. Fourtunately I had done my homework and managed to seek out a "single" lady of my age who along with the guy who partnered her, the infamous Harry Jones has been friends ever since!

My first ever club visit? An organised do from A.N.Other now deceased forum to Partners. Piece of cake in a group situation!

But I have yet to go to Paradise Spa Bournemouth, my local as I`m a bit ............

First time I went was a Monday night, by the time I'd screwed up the courage to go in the place was practically empty, I chatted to the barman for a bit, had a look round, enjoyed a jacuzzi/Sauna and went home!

Not what I expected as a single lady in a swinging club. Took me 6 months before I went back, but I did some research that time and met lots of nice people.

I think I must be the exception to the rule. I went to a club before I had my first private meet. On the way there I was nervous but the good excited kind of nerves that drive you on. Once I got there I parked up and strode across to the club like it was the most natural thing in the world.

I'm going to my first club soon and I'm nervous as hell. I'm going to go with people I've met on here, either a female or a couple.

People's advice to me is to read the reviews, find somewhere friendly, try to go with another person the first time, and don't have any expectations on your first visit. Just go for a nice night out and dome nice conversation and anything ales is a bonus.

Neither of the 2 clubs I've been to are anything like that fortunately "

Not kidding, I would so go to a club like that.

"I always say to people the scariest bit is walking in the front door.... after that everything else is gravy...

just go.... open mind, no expectations and just chat to people... don't be the person looking like a lost lamb... or patrolling the play areas like some sort of dark arts swinging ninja.... a "hello" goes a long, long way"

I am a dark arts swinging ninja, but this brings back memories...

"I'm probably going to my first club on Saturday so I will let you know how it goes. I will die if I walk in the door and it's like a Wild West film. The place goes deadly silent and a load of seasoned swingers in basques and leopard skin thongs give the beady eye!

Hahaha... that made me laugh.

Then slowly remove the cigar from the corner of your mouth, throw back your pancho, and listen to the fast strumming of a Spanish guitar as the barman looks down at your six shooter.
