There are no swinger clubs as such in Benidorm.
El Sofa is a sex cinema and attracts more gay men than anyone else.
Last year we heard that someone was holding monthly swinger party's in one of the gay clubs but never managed to get the full details.
Other than that it's Alicante or Elche. |

Nothing to be sorry about.
El Sofa is probably the nearest thing to a swinger club in Benidorm and was well worth mentioning, although we wouldn't recommend it.
It is located behind a sex shop in the old town and is made up of around half a dozen very small rooms each showing different style porn movies.
We went a couple of years ago and were the only m/f couple in the place among around 10 single guys, most of whom were having fun in one of the gay porn rooms. We gave it about half an hour but then decided to leave.
We have heard of one or two swinging couples using the place (that is why we gave it a try) but from our experience and what we have heard from others more recently, they are very few and far between. |

Backing up our friends above, your going to find most (not all by any means) clubs now in Spain in the South West (Sevilla etc) or in Madrid and Barcelona.
The scene took a dip in the last 24 months, every time we have re-checked our list recently another club in Spain seems to have gone under. Quite a few in the South East have gone now though one or two are still around. Depends how far you want to travel. |

While that is mostly true Alicante still has five swinger clubs plus there is another in Elche.
However, as said above, the scene has taken a bit of a dip in the last year or two and Alicante is now probably a bit top heavy. It would probably be for the best if one or maybe two actually did close.
Sadly the heady days of Bilitis at Playa San Juan are a distant memory. |

No. Cafe Benidorm is a large show bar at the top end of the square, opposite the Hotel Orange.
I wouldn't get too excited though. It's used more as a place for setting up arranged meets rather than a swinger hang out.
We pop in quite regularly and we've never seen anything that could remotely be described as a swinger scene in there. |
