We've reviewed a Club or two where that hasn't been the case. For us a good club is as much about the atmosphere and facilities as it is about playing with others. That said your probably right with a number of reviews.`` |

Its a public review system so its all going to very heavily personal preference based.
I (Mr) when I review try to make it an objective experience about the club, I try to break it down to into good/bad things and paint an overall picture, but again like any review its all a personal preference and incidents and things ive seen on the night will effect it (even subtly).

Seems sensible to base a review on the experience as much as the facilities. Personally we've never minded if we do or don't play with others at clubs - but the overall atmosphere is inevitably going to be influenced by the people that attend. |

It often is. We've spotted people lurking in clubs, not talking to people and said to each other that they'll moan that nothing happened. It only didnt happen for them best look at a spread of review, or just try a place. Remember, reviews are opinions. Who knows if you will actually like the place once you are there... |

We have reviewed a lot of clubs and always give a very honest opinion and it has nothing to do with if we play or not. We do not list everything that is good or bad just the main points, cleanliness, atmosphere, temperature etc. if there is something we feel needs addressing then we contact the club via email, usually locks on doors is an issue and 99 times out of 100 they are sorted by the time we make a second visit. It is surprising how often they do not know of little issues as no one ever mentions it. |
