East Mids clubs for new couple to social with guys?

Hi everyone, just wondered if anyone could recommend a club in the East Midlands for a new couple. We've never been to a club before. Ideally we'd just like a clean, comfortable, friendly club that had a nice bar/social space where we could chat and flirt with some guys, and hopefully make a few friends and contacts, and decide whether clubbing is for us. We've looked at the club listings and seen La Chambre, Liberty Elite, New Paradise Club (closest), the attic, and Xotix Xtreme. Which of those would anyone recommend for a first club visit and the kind of thing we're looking for? We'd be looking to visit on a Friday or Saturday night.

Thanks everyone xxx

I can highly recommend Libertys. They do a free night on a Sunday with no obligation to join. It's incredibly clean, well run and not threatening at all.

I have recently gone into a relationship with someone who has never even thought about swinging but was open to trying out a social to see if he felt comfortable with it. We met some friends of mine there, indulged in a little soft play (just me and him) whereupon he almost fell asleep, naked, on one of the beds in the big room. relaxed or what!

That sounds great. Looking at the website, if we were going to go on a Friday or Saturday night, it'd probably have to be a Friday, as the events on Saturdays look a bit advanced for us newbies

We will be there on Friday and are always up for a natter and a drink. If you go, come and say hello.

Playing is not compulsory with anyone and you could easily spend the whole night clothed and I'm certain you will feel relaxed and enjoy yourselves.

Thanks! It won't be until 6th September if at all, but drop us a line if you go We're really just along for the single guys, but it'd be nice to chat with friendly people and settle our nerves if we decide to go along

a land up north..... of leicester

I've been to the all of those clubs, and with the glowing post about liberty's I'll leave that one out of mine.

Attic is the cheapest but has a dated feel to it. It's Clean and always a warm welcome. No bar as such though.

Paradise is a bit on small side when busy but also a right barrel of laughs. The social areas are ok, there is a free pool table that is usually a good way to get chatting to ppl.

Xotix is well layed out and and the bar area is very good. It's sometimes a bit quiet it's always a nice night. I've been to the derby social that's held there and they're a good way to get settled into the club scene.

I used to go to la chambre afew years ago when I lived there, it's great and the ppl are always friendly. Be warned though, you can get lost in the place. The bar area is good. I'd probably see if clubbing is for you before going though.

Hope this helps

La Chambre is a great club for firstimers. The social area is all on one floor and feels like a pub with a dancefloor.

The playrooms are on the first floor all off a central landing.

The basement is the same footprint as the rest of the floors and is a very well equipped dungeon.

It's a dressed club and you can wear whatever you feel comfortable in - I've gone in straight from work in a smart dress and had conversations with women dressed in jeans and a jumper and another wearing just three latex hand prints and noone felt out of place!

Single guys do have to dress down into shorts and/or towel to go to the play areas, male halves of couples are expected to do the same unless they are with their OH.

All newbies get an extensive tour and lots of info and the rules on their first visit. They often get introduced to regulars too.

Good luck on whichever club you choose and have fun.

Some good comments.. I know xotix has the social this Saturday and will be a good event. It's a clothed club too.

Not sure what's on this Saturday at paradise but sure the lovely bubbles, Kat or dirty will..

Can't comment on lc on a Saturday but mostly enjoy it on Fridays lol.

Not been to liberties as I'm a few sizes to big to go and find it highly priced compared to others.

Attic again I love it but not been on a normal swing night.

If you come to xotix I will be helping do show arounds Saturday.

Most clubs have couples night on Saturday so if you're looking for single guys Friday is probably going to suit you more.

Paradise and xotix are both mixed on a Saturday.

Loughborough zouch

We are holding a social night on the 6th and a back to school night on the 7th.

These are good nights for new couples. There is a guest list making membership optional on the night and discount entry before 9pm.

Please see my profile and club reviews too xx

They are both good clubs... I tend to flit between the two with some lc and chameleons thrown In..

Back to school night is looking good... Xotix has rocky horror night that night.. but Lee and I were already going to paradise x

I'm thinking about Liberties, but is size a problem there? My lady is maybe a size 18. I want her to be comfortable

With respect it is nonsense. It's one of the most welcoming clubs irrespective of who or what you are. I'm sure you will both get on very well there if you give it a go. Yes it's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

Give a free night a go although not sure about the turnout as its been a whiles.

With respect to you, your not a plus side.. the comments I have had have been from larger ladies that didn't feel welcomed due to size...

I've been there many times, La Chambre, VA, Paradise and Chams too and I've seen all sizes and shapes in all of those clubs.

I may not be plus size (I used to be) but I'm freakishly tall, with dreads, tats and stretched lobe not to mention a hairy bugger so I don't fit the average 'look' but I've always been welcome at any club.

This is the male party commenting the female is riding her horse round the sticks at the moment. I would ask that you give it a go and see how you get on for yourself. I've seen confident women thrive there.

As regulars of Liberties over the years, I think it is a fair point. As much as everyone might try to pretend otherwise and while the club and its staff maybe welcoming to all, the clientle maybe slightly less so. People play with who they want to play with, and some people will only talk to people who they want to play with (not the case with us, we will talk to people regardless, to be friendly and make them feel welcome) and I think it is fair to say that there are less people at Libs of that size than there are at say Chams. We've seen people of all shapes and sizes at both of these clubs, but certainly more at the latter venue. Once a club has a reputation of appealing to certain types of people, then people will naturally gravitate towards the club that has people that will appeal to them. And while there are always exceptions to this rule and it can be very mixed on any given night, we think there a weighted truth to Cali's point.

Have you considered JayDee's? A bit further away than the others, but I have to say it is THE friendliest club I have been to. Only open on Saturday Night, they do let in single guys but only 10 who have to pre-book. No membership fee and £20 on the door.

We are wanting to go to xotix on Saturday but just want to ask a few things if anyone can help.

Love the pirates and wenches theme but we gotta hurry round and get costumes so does everyone dress up?

We really want to get there and not be the new kids in the corner. We are really easy to get on with but would like to chat to others who are going so we can say hey its you when we get there. So who else is going ??? Say hi

Our idea of the night is like clubbing with a load of like minded people who want to make friends and, if the mood takes, a little play too. Are we right??

Thanks for reading our first forum post
