We've just found out our favourite club is holding a BBQ and screening a football match in the big screen cinema during the evening bi night (they normally play bi porn). We can't see the sense in it as it's a prime play area on a bi night so we're now thinking of not going which is disappointing as we don't get the chance to go on a Monday often - we live an hour away (this is our closest club) and usually have work the next day. Blokes eating burgers, drinking beer and watching football isn't our idea of erotic.
So what would put you off going to a club if you saw they were featuring it on a night you'd planned to go? |

WTF?
I'd definitely not go! Football?
It's as bad as chams showing soaps in one of the rooms but at least that room was a chill out room and I dont think they do that anymore |

"What's puts us off is packs of men roaming round looking for prey "
But you can just make sure you don't go on a couples & singles night I guess. I meant a specific event ... like fancy dress etc - or in our case - screening a bloody football match on our favourite night lol |

Speaking as a football fan, I can't think of anything worse!!!!!
You go to a club to play, not watch players! Poor form.....more so in a play area.
In open plan non-play area maybe, but agree that porn would be more suitable still.
We also hate the packs of men, we tend to go to a club where men are on a controlled number, or a couples only night.
Most clubs have good and bad points, the one we go to is a little expensive, but provides us with the more controlled men issue. Oh and before all the single guys have a go at us, yes we know here are a lot of you who are very respectful, very well mannered and very nice too!!! |

Glad you agree on the football issue. We go to bi nights to meet bi men - I'm annoyed that some of them may be distracted by Man U Vs 'whoever they're playing'. |

where do you then draw the line...
for example... during the olympics last year, on the saturday nights when mo farah was winning medals, our local club had a tv only in one of the social areas.....
should they have not had it on... after all, if people weren't interested they wouldn't have had it on.... but in the last couple of laps that place was packed! |

or another example... when raul moat was on the run, because it was in our general area, when they had the standoff 30 miles up the road, they put on sky news.... and people were popping in and out of same said social area taking a peek at what was going on....
again should they have not done that?
things like this only affect you in clubs if you let them?... you don't have to watch
if they were showing it in play areas, i would agree... in social areas why not??
so is it a general issue, a sport issue, or a football issue? |

They are closing a large and popular public play area to do this. So I assume you agree that they are wrong to do so? |

^^^ This.
It's in the large cinema area which is a primary play area, especially on a bi night. If it were something like an Olympic final then, in a social area such as the lounge, fine. But to effectively wipe out a significant play area for a football match...? Not on in our book. |

if it is a play area then why draw the line between olympics and football.... it either is okay or isn't.... which is why i asked if the issue is sport or football
in which case you could argue nothing but porn should be shown!!! right???? |

Our issue is with showing ANYTHING other than porn in a primary play area in a swingers club. It's nothing to do with being anti football - it's about paying to go to a swingers club to play in the play areas and socialise in the social areas |

"Given the vastness of AB fabs one room showing football wont really spoil the fun will it ?
It might be more entertaining the porn shown at most clubs anyway ! (and I hate football).
"
If it were any other night I'd agree ... but it's a bi night and if you know anything about them, you'll have noticed guys play differently to couples and bi women. The cinema very much centres on the way guys play ... the porn, the subtle indications followed by pretty much anonymous play. Of course, horny stuff goes on elsewhere but the cinema is a very important element of male bi play. |

Well im not really sure what to tell you, AB Fabs consistently ignore any feedback on this site so I seriously doubt a thread here is going to change their minds.
I guess if you feel this strongly about it you could always vote with your feet and not go |

Oh I know they won't change their minds - that wasn't the purpose of this thread. I'm pi**ed off and we probably won't go but I asked what OTHER things might prevent people from going to a club ... like fancy dress nights or a certain theme etc. Like I wouldn't want to do a 'naked' night for example. |

We were thinking of going on Monday - but I think we might just give it a miss now
We have to agree with Gillyhicks - the number of single guys at some clubs who don't think the rules apply to them really piss us off - by that I mean touching without being invited ! or being followed - In one club I literally turned round to look in a room, which took a couple of seconds and when I turned round there was 3 guys with dicks in hand between me and my wife - if they had just played it cool they would have had a great show, instead they had to listen to our orgasms through a door. |

I once went to a meet at a couple's house and they had the footy on their 50" screen TV. Very distracting - especially since it was 'my team' and I was trying to avoid the result until Match of the Day later on! |

Some never learn though do they? I remember once, I was playing with Z on a bed, I was on top when I heard the jingle of a belt being undone and turned to see a bloke getting undressed behind me, his trousers and kecks were around his ankles and shirt on the floor. I don't know that he THOUGHT he was going to do - but he ended up getting nothing but his marching orders. Cheeky sod! |
