to be fair it is late notice for a lot of people..... plus loads of people get paid at months end

its an awkward one... I am confident enough to go to a club on my own (like to think of myself as an adult!! lol), I personally wouldn't go to a club with a couple/single I really didn't know...

where as some couples need planning, i think the thing that often gets forgotten is that the same applies to a hell of a lot of single guys.....

i attend a club most weekends all over the country as i tend to work all over the country

but don't think i would arrange a meet with a couple i might message them to say hi and that i would be attending on said night and come and say hi

it would be different if the single never been to a club and a couple were going to show him the ropes

I wouldn't respond as I come on here for sex, not to meet for a drink and a chat with a possible no thanks

With the messaging on here, offline texting or phone conversation I and the person I'm corresponding with know we'll be bumping uglies when we meet face to face

Yes there may be conversation first but we both know that's not all there'll be

When I'm meeting I tend to only meet in club, however I don't arrange meets there. I simply say I'm going and if a guy wants to meet me he can come and say hello and see what happens. I've had a quick look at you profile and if I was a single guy I'd be slightly put off about meeting you as it's a little negative. Also if you are going to a club anyway what does it matter if you don't have a meet, there should be plenty of choice already in the club and yes £25 is a lot of money for some people.

Good luck with how you play, but don't blame the single guys for not taking up your offer, your timing might not be right for the ones in your area.

Not every guy is confident enough to just rock up to a club, guest or otherwise. Even taking the cost into account.

Add time constraints, and as _abio mentioned, pay schedules for some.

Life happens, even for us guys, believe it or not.

It may well also be, that it's not just £25 for a single guy! If he has not been to that club before he is looking at a membership fee of £50+ then £25+ to get in for that night! That's £75+ to maybe meet a couple in there, they don't know from Adam! That's a lot of money on an off chance!!

But as already said just go to a club with lots of guys already!!

Hi Cromptons, on a purely personal level, I don't meet your criteria, too old & too short. I've not been to no3 because I get the impression (rightly or wrongly) that more mature single guys would have a tough time getting any action. I can manage a couple of hours on the odd Fri eve & tend to go to a club that has a Greedy Girl night & can still come away dissapointed, but that's my problem

Just read your profile.

Reading phrases like "it's not f****ing rocket science" "dream on dickhead" and "we'll name and shame" doesn't paint a brilliant picture of you. I'm sure you're both lovely people, your verifications say so, but if I was a single bloke and read that, I would definitely be put off.

And as has already been said £25 is a lot of money for some people - you say you "won't just drop your knickers" - so you expect a guy to pay £25 to meet you only for you to possibly turn him down for whatever reason? Maybe you could offer to pay his entrance for him?

Anyway, happy swinging and let's hope you find the right guy soon

It's amazing the number of times people arrange to meet a single guy and he doesn't turn up.

Almost as bad as meeting one, getting ready to play, and then have his wife call him, resulting in him having to bail!

Alternatively just go to a club with alot of single guys, and take it from there.

The only club that we know that allows single guys as guests of a couple on a couples only night expect him to stay with the couple and to leave if the couple dont want to play with him and want to go and play with others.

Must say it wouldn't appeal to me.

So why not meet for a drink 1st then if there is chemistry go to the club, £3 for a drink is a lot less the £25 for a social.

In that case, meet socially to start with. Build up a network of guys that fit criteria and then ask them to attend the club with you.

It's what we would do, and what we actually do with couples.

(when people actually want to meet that is..lol)

Exactly! Yet you seem to be oblivious to why men might be reluctant to spend £25 to meet at a club only too find there is no chemistry and he has to leave while you can go and potentially find someone else to play with and he doesn't have that option. You can't lose with this set up as regardless of how well the meet goes you get to spend the night in the club, he potentially doesn't.

To be honest there is an arrogance in expecting men to be so desperate/keen to meet that they will happily take that gamble and not being able to see how little is in it for them that is bordering on unpleasant.

Why not just meet socially before the club so there is no need for them to pay an admission for what could be a very short stay in a club.

OP - may I suggest, with the greatest of respect, you take a step or two back and put yourselves in the position of a single guy in your required age range and description, and take a thorough, objective view of how your profile comes over...?

When I was on here with a single profile, I have to say I would have been unlikely to have messaged you, even just to say Hi....

i can agree to a point! but we have also put down for meets at the same club for a thursday social, this is 100% free to guys until 10 and they can pay, stay and play after with either us or anyone they like.but we get very little interest in that also. it seems that the only clubs single guys go to generally are the ones that lets them in with no limits on numbers so they can become part of the flock tbh.we would say its us!!!but...if we put a home or hotel meet up we get inundated with messages. so it must be the club!

"what have singles got against club meets?...£25 isn't extortion!"

Admission money is one thing. Membership is another.

If I had the offer of "meet you at Chameleons next Friday" (as an example) firstly, because I'm not a member there, the cost will be in the order of £100 in round figures (including membership) and that is IF there isn't the famous waiting list for single male membership in the way.

Don't know about you, but £100 is £100 in anyone's money.

With the exception of the words 'bordering on', I agree with everything in this paragraph.

Too many couples I come across seem to think they are owed something by single male site users based on the assumption that none of us have any better options.

No offense meant to those who go to clubs but, They are set up and only really interested in couples and single females.

As a single guy why would i pay a membership fee and then an entry fee just to go in and get told "No Thanks" all night because i'm a single guy.

Easy position for me Dundee don't have a swingers club The council won't allow it....

That seems very unfair! The club we go to has member free nights and if you are invited to a party you dont need membership and if you are a guest of a couple you dont need it either.

Two things here and i dont think the o p is seeing the side of a single chap in this instance myself.

I only been to one club on one occasion and went with couple i knew simply so i felt comfortable from personal point. I am confident generally but prefer this option.

There is no way i would meet someone i had not met or at least chatted with. The profile does seem a bit negative however whether meant this way i do not know. It naybe worthwhile eevisiting this.

As to the cost yes 25 quid is not cheap and consider this as an individual would you pay to go in a club swingers or not before owt else spent plus take into account travel costs.

I do think a social meet prior to going into the club is a good solution to see if all parties are happy to play. that way the single guy only pays to go into the club if there is chemistry or whatever between them.

other than that I see no issue with what they are asking for.

A neutral meet is always a good idea, i do think though that clubs do charge a little against the single guy.

Membership, Entrance, Taxi's there and Back not to mention any other costs on the night such as drinks etc it all adds up.

But if you know of cheap clubs perhaps you should tell the single guy's about them...

well in this particular instance, paying for membership isnt an issue as the guy would be a guest of the couple. so the night would probably cost no more than 50 quid in total. and most people would spend a lot more than that on a vanilla night out.

also some clubs do have non members nights where you wouldnt have to pay to become a member anyway.

thats just one club....

my local club I think charges 20 for membership.. and different prices for the different nights ranging from 20-30 pounds.....

yes membership plus admittance for a one off night is expensive... and it is one of my bug bears as well, i wish there was a better way of doing it...

well you have a fair few clubs a lot closer to manchester so you would not have to pay out half as much.

you have stated the worst case scenario regarding cost.

get free condoms from the gum clinic and make yourself something when you get home. could also use public transport to get to the club and jist get taxi home. all all ways to save a bit off the cost.

So you think £50 is an acceptable cost for what is in effect a social meet with the chance of play?

OK lets split some hairs. If we were to invite a single guy to join us at our regular club on a sunday (its couples & 3somes only on a Sunday) it would cost you the princely sum of £10 ( as its £20 per couple £30 for a 3some and no need for a membership) and theres a free buffet (no need for a kebab)theres a railway station no more than 50yards away.I rest my case.

no, I would suggest a social meet before going to to club to see if both want to play.

As a long term single male member of a number of clubs, I agree that the one off cost of your 1st night in a club can be expensive, but I don't really think that, even, £2 a week membership to any type of social club is expensive!!

"No offense meant to those who go to clubs but, They are set up and only really interested in couples and single females."
The majority of clubs seem to make most of their money from single males!!

"As a single guy why would i pay a membership fee and then an entry fee just to go in and get told "No Thanks" all night because i'm a single guy."
I don't know which clubs you've been to, but I haven't found that to be the case in any of the numerous clubs I've been a member of over the years.

................ but if i was another couple in that club and I saw you as a 3some, then I would expect you to stay as a 3some.....

so if the chemistry isn't there and you wander off... he is then a single guy in a place where he shouldn't really there.. and it isn't really in the spirit of the event advertised....

that is definately one situation I would be weary of and certainly wouldn't risk
