i guess its like marmite some love it some hate it.
We went once and were shown the promising ideas for the extention but from what we have heard that was a year ago and its still not finished. The guy running the show was kinda creepy and it was very basic and not for us we like chameleons and places like that with a bit of style not just somewhere cheap looking. It has an adult cinema of sorts in the day but even that wasnt the greatest. |

I've been many times, but only to the day time cinema and greedy girls nights. Been treated very well every time.
I love it for when I want certain things.. and I haven't actually ever had a problem there.
It's always clean, staff are always helpful and they make a cracking cup of tea and as a single girl I feel safe there. |

Again I'd say read the reviews although it does sometimes seem like the avoid reviews are taken off.
IMHO I think there are way better clubs you could visit xotic, chams, lc and so on and yes I did go once and if it hadn't been for a really nice young guy I met there I would have left as soon as I arrived. |

that's kind of the perception we've had from the apparent drama that goes on in the review thread...just not what we're looking for...but as we said, it's a shame and xotic only seems to be open at the weekend... |

Just to confirm again.....reviews are not removed wether they are good or bad.
Bitching /arguing and posts that have nothing to do with reviewing the club are taken off. |

I havnt been but have friends who have and they said it was awful and wont ever go again ... i trust their judgement !!
I have seen the owner many times in the past at socials and hes a creepy pervy odd fella who seemed to behave as if he was twelve !! Looking up ladies dresses etc which i thought was childish tbh .... but each to their own i guess .... however it dont seem to be doing to well so i guess that speaks for itself !! |

I think those with personal issues just let it go..
the owners are working hard and listening. Their have been many changes and for the better.
We popped along Monday and even though it was t girl day were made to feel very welcome
It had clean rooms and to be honest Chams was less clean on a recent visit.
I say to people make up your own mind. X |

in some clubs its the staff that help make it a great place in others its the clientelle chams for instance i have seen a few rooms left in disgusting states but once reported to staff they were spotless we went to the attic last year twice but never again it was dull as dishwater we went on a greedy girls night and everyone sat around talking till gone 11 with nothing going on we played a bit but no one approached us we just got ignored then got verbally abused by some d*unk idiot it looked run down and unkeptthe jacuzzi wasnt filled the cinema area had what looked like body fluids on a few seats and we wouldnt go back because it just seemed seedy and everything i had expected when i first went to a club but was pleasantly surpised. |

that's just your opinion though. I find it always well kept. And the staff have been listening to what customers want. To be honest of late I've found it cleaner than chameleons.
Guys have always been respectful... however I've only been on greedy girls night and to the cinema..
looking forward to the new bit being opened. |

The attic themselves has no control over what is removed. reviews get removed when they are seen as trouble making, not a real review or personal.
The club to be honest is working really hard to work with customers, and my experiences have always been positive. Therefore my reviews are positive.
I'm an experienced club goer and am always happy to say it how I see it... But I've honestly never had a bad time their.
I just know there are a lot of people bad mouthing somewhere just because or because of issues with people working there... Doesn't mean others won't have a good time.

the club is what the owner, staff and the members make it, i have only been once and i was very impressed all areas were clean the staff were very freindly and the members were great to get On with, it is a lot better than a few others clubs that i have been to and i will be going back  |

"that's a load of bull shit.we have been twice and left a review that got taken off at one point you had over 950 reviews . most of the ones now are from the same people or made up profiles the club is a joke "
Oh and I realised something about the reviews is that now its listed as individual people that review.. not individual reviews.
It was to stop clubs getting higher ratings when regular people reviewed it.. ie you may review a club 3 times but the number will only increase on the first review.

Having went there yesterday I have to say I agree with Little Miss Cali. I went to their adult cinema more out of curiosity as I was heading down the M1. It seems its made up of afternoons being the adult cinema only, whilst their swinging events take place on Thurs, Fri and Sat nights. Nothing other than men just watching the films yesterday (Tues) but I got the grand tour afterwards, including the new extension which is almost complete. I found the rooms very clean, spacious with some areas being out-of-bounds to single males but still being able to view the couples. The owner guy (who has updated and spruced everything up since he recently took over a couple of years ago which may explain the bad reviews from then) says the jacuzzi gets cleaned after every event and the water replaced often . So without the hassle and expense of membership required, and without unjustifiable high entrance fees to pay, I will be attending one of their swingers nights very soon. please don't run the attic down especially if you have not been[don't be sheep and just follow people ]go and judge for yourself, I have had great night there ...and the boss ron is a lovely guy xx  |

Been to the attic several times as the male half of a BBW couple, never had any problems there, most the clientele are very friendly and open. Had some good fun with a particular couple.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, about the only downside was the wait for the extension to complete which I believe has now been approved by the authorities and is about ready for use.
We were both surprised to find free condoms, lube, hygienic cleaning sprays and rolls of paper towels supplied free, you couldn't enter a room without seeing them. That was a big change from most of the clubs we have frequented.
Overall I would recommend the club, but don't take my word for it, try it yourself. Its cheap entry at £10 for a couple or single fem and only £20 for a single bloke, there are very few clubs which charge anything close to that. |

lol the 2nd time we went he showed up around .he told us this is the couples room and opened the door one girls and five men where playing.he then told us its ok they come every week.but then went on to say that sometimes if he likes a look of a girl he will ask a female member of staff to go in the coule room with him. if he told us this what is he not telling us .we was at a party last night 12 couple and not one had a good word to say about the club.been told not many swingers go now and is more of a gay club.it really pissed us of when we did a review at it was taken down and we got lots of emails from people having a go at us.if the club is so good why is it only £10 to get in .we would say you get what you pay for .so how many post will pop up now saying how great the place is |

It's things like this that the club has been addressing... They listened to the complaints and have acted.
I (Cali.) Have never attended on a swinging night, only been in during greedy girl nights, special events, fetish events and the cinema. They have stopped quite a few people going now... To improve it and from what I've heard and experienced it's working.
The new area will make it a club with some amazing facilities and I think over time they will regain the people... It is sad the some ruined it for others, and the staff at one point were giving special treatment to some customers... However I've never ever had a problem there.. staff were quick to assist if someone needed it and staff now are easily recognised as they are in uniform...
I think the attic themselves would be first to admit that while a clean club they had a few issues.
Thing is I've spoke to many couples that said bad things but hadn't actually been.. I am personally looking forward to the new extension being finished as it looks amazing. The new wet area is fantastic... And yes it's a single guy heavy club but that's what some people like.
The reason the attic charges what it does is because they are always busy.. Mondays it's got a great following and cinema is always a good experience...
As to reviews being taken down... Well that's nothing to do with the attic.. fab admin remove reviews that break the rules... So why people keep insisting that the attic don't like bad press is beyond me... As I have seen the changes made.. and I look forward to my next visit.. as we have never ever had a bad time there.
