Hi we really want to try the club scene but this will be our first time. Currently we are in the Birmingham area. What's the best club to go to? X

Xtasia at West Bromwich would be a good bet, great club and it has a night club style layout so not so daunting for newcomers. Also there is Flirts bar at same location as a pre club drinking option run by the club that's a good relaxed way to meet people beforehand too.

The Attic Derby is a great first club. Recommend going a Friday/Saturday for the full club experience. What I think makes it a great first club is:

It's no membership or taking details. Just rock up and pay the reasonable entry fee. After all you don't want to sign up and pay for a membership until you know if you like it and clubs are for you.

It's dress as you're comfortable. Giving you the option to be in smart dress if you're not comfortable dressing down but also the freedom to dress down to what your dare or desire when you want. And you'll see plenty of people in all sorts of dress/undress. Total freedom of dress at any time.

There a really freindly atmosphere and great range of social spaces as well as a huge selection of play spaces to suit all needs.

So that's why I would say it's a great first club.
