I have never been to a club before and I do not feel.comfortable in a dress or a skirt. would it be frowned upon if i wear some smart jeans and a nice top with my heels? daft question I no but this has been the only thing putting me off going to a club as yet  |

As an earlier poster said it does depend which type of club you go to.
If you go to a dry, nightclub style club, then you'll find ladies in all manner of outfits ranging from various forms of lingerie, chemises and nightwear through to dresses of various lengths and styles and a few wearing trousersjeans though in my experience that is very few in a club. Most ladies would dress as sexy as they dare, and often choose a more revealing outfit than they would wear on a "normal" night out. The advice I'd always give to anyone attending a club for the first time would be dress however you feel comfortable bearing in mind the club rules, and also be aware that the clubs often get very warm.
In a wet club, in many senses it really makes no difference what you wear to arrive in as most often you will have to get undressed shortly after arriving and certainly to enter any of the play areas. In such a club, from a ladies perspective, I very much doubt you'd be able to wear jeans or trousers of any sort, but many, many ladies wear lingerie or silky nighties etc in a wet club rather than wearing a towel.

If I'm going to a dry club I always wear smart jeans that show off my bum, and a sexy top. I don't wear dresses or skirts, I look like a man in drag.
Wear what you feel comfortable in, or you won't feel like talking to anyone, because you will be too self conscious. |
