Congleton / Derby

We usually stay at Chams too. But there is a holiday in express at junction 10 of M6 or a Village hotel nearby to. Don’t make the mistake I made village hotel Dudley 😂

Newcastle under lyme

Like they said above holiday Inn Express. Short drive or taxi ride and you get breakfast in the morning which to me is a big bonus! Also nice price as well hope it helps

It sucks when there's no room at the Inn.

Chams is within a short 3-4 mile taxi ride of a few decent places.

Personally we've stayed in the following that have all been fine and often very good prices:

Premier in Walsall Centre (because there's a nice place near by we like to go for chicken and cocktails).

The Holiday Inn Express, breakfast included and sometimes you recognise a few faces at breakfast.

The Travelodge Walsall Centre.

But also I believe the following are good choices:

Premier Inn Walsall M6, J10 (which is only a couple of miles from the club). Because others have told use its decent and you can't really go wrong with Premier Inn. We know a lot of people stay there.

The Village Hotel (next door to Holiday Inn Express). We've heard that's fine too.

So lots of selection. Taxis tend to be cheap and if you've savy you could always sort a taxi share with others attending.

Just never let frugalness or curiosity lead you into booking a room at the Metro Walsall. That's all I'd say on that.
