First of all, do check the website carefully, don't just turn up at the door. Most of the time (not sure about Quest, but in many other clubs), single men either need to book in advance ("how" is normally stated on the website) or be on the guestlist for the event.
Once booked to come, make sure you follow the club's dress code as you might get turned away at the door if not adhering to their dress code. No matter how ridiculous you think it is (not saying you do), still stick with it.
Quest is quite a small club, but yes, they do have a bar and it's licensed, I believe. So do not bring your own alcohol and/or soft drinks (do check the alcohol bit on their website as I am not 100% sure they are licensed).
Yes, you can just socialise at the bar. The area is quite spacious for such a small club.
You don't have to do anything you are not comfortable with. And most importantly, please remember women are there out of their own account, they are not "female entertainers", consent is important and touching without asking permission first is sexual assault and may get you at least removed from the club, or may even involve the police.
My advice - go with zero expectations, have a drink at the bar, watch, try chatting to people, including couples when they are sitting together, not when the man went to the toilet, for example. Hot tub can be a good place to socialise (no playing "footsies" under the water), also smoking area is, apparently, a good place if you don't mind the smoke. |
