Right guys and girls.

Never done a club before. Nervous as hell about it.

Need some pointers, please?

This is a spur of the moment thing, kinda just get up and do it.

If I attend, can I simply socialise. I’m taking it there’s a bar kinda of area and people meet and chat, before going off.

I believe Quest (Leeds) is having an event today but not sure if it’s for singles or not. Was going to make this possibly my first event.

Thanks in advance all.

Sorry if my questions are silly. But never done this before. Xx

First of all, do check the website carefully, don't just turn up at the door. Most of the time (not sure about Quest, but in many other clubs), single men either need to book in advance ("how" is normally stated on the website) or be on the guestlist for the event.

Once booked to come, make sure you follow the club's dress code as you might get turned away at the door if not adhering to their dress code. No matter how ridiculous you think it is (not saying you do), still stick with it.

Quest is quite a small club, but yes, they do have a bar and it's licensed, I believe. So do not bring your own alcohol and/or soft drinks (do check the alcohol bit on their website as I am not 100% sure they are licensed).

Yes, you can just socialise at the bar. The area is quite spacious for such a small club.

You don't have to do anything you are not comfortable with. And most importantly, please remember women are there out of their own account, they are not "female entertainers", consent is important and touching without asking permission first is sexual assault and may get you at least removed from the club, or may even involve the police.

My advice - go with zero expectations, have a drink at the bar, watch, try chatting to people, including couples when they are sitting together, not when the man went to the toilet, for example. Hot tub can be a good place to socialise (no playing "footsies" under the water), also smoking area is, apparently, a good place if you don't mind the smoke.

Hi

It's not a licensed bar, you do need to bring your own alcohol. I'm a club regular and love the club.

If you're not a member you need to bring photo ID with your home address on it. Also read the website for more information and check the events page as that will tell you what's on tonight

Quest is good. Small, friendly and fun. A great introduction to a club

I’ll probably be going either Wednesday or Thursday night for the first time should you want a friendly face to kick off your night.

Personally it looks worth it just for the sauna and jacuzzi

The jacuzzi at Quest is lovely. There is also a pool table which is good for socialising

Thursday night is a great starting point as its a non members night as it's Greedy girls. That way you get to see what the club is like

I’ll definitely be going Thursday night then, I might pop in the daytime to register.

Anyone else going?
