Hi all, been to TG a few times now in Manchester and London but hoping to go more often, and would love to link up with other regulars to maybe meet for pre drinks etc. I can talk to people in there easy enough but it’s only ever in the club and would be interested to make a few more actual friends in the lifestyle. Let me know if you’re a frequenter and it would be nice to get to know you! |

Hi there, We are attending our first TG next month and I was wondering if I could ask a cheeky question about how you tend to dress for the events and any advice you have for someone attending their first TG? We've done clubs loads and talked for years about exploring more of our fetish side, but myself in particular (J - the guy lol) haven't really leaned into it before and am just kind of getting to grips with it. Thanks |

TG has advice on clothing on its website. You can also send pictures for their comment.
I have always found my go to outfit of latex top, leather trousers and worker boots passes muster. Full latex works or a little latex works.
This is what TG says about dress code.
Dresscode
We are an extreme fetish fantasy event, with a strict dress-code to match which applies to all genders.
We are about full head to toe effort and pushing boundaries, not just a gesture towards a fetish look (just a pair of PVC trousers or hotpants is not a full look).
TG is a place for you to be the most extravagant version of yourself – the club should look like a scene from a movie rather than a fancy-dress party. If you can wear any part of your outfit to a regular party, or travel on the tube without being stared at, then it’s a good sign that you won’t be dressed up enough for TG. This is your chance to be someone that you can’t be anywhere else, we are a home for people that want a safe place to be as extreme and excessive in their look as possible!
The club is what it is due to the level of effort that our customers put into their outfits for the night, so we strictly enforce the dress-code policy on the door and don’t make exceptions.
Items that are 100% not allowed into the club include:
• Jeans or denim (any colour, including black) Regular suits (yes even with a hat)
• Cotton shirts and t-shirts• Cheap and cheesy fancy dress
• Sexy party dresses that could be worn to any nightclub
• Cotton underwear/boxer shorts
• Camo trousers/street camo
• Regular black fabric trousers, shorts and skirts
• Leggings/Meggings – including shiny/wet look leggings for men. More info and suggestions will be written on the event page for the party that you are looking to attend
An easy way to get outfit inspiration is to check the gallery. |

I’ve been to many TG events, Brighton and various London venues. Saturday will be the first one I’ve gone to on my own though. Not sure what that experience will be like. If anyone’s going this Saturday let me know. |

I would love to have gone to Brighton but apparently they had to stop hosting there due to upkeep of the building or something? Sounds like it would’ve been amazing in there |

Brighton was personally my favourite venue. Didn’t know they’d stopped hosting there, that’s a shame. Electroworks is better than the Scala venue, for some reason the couple room at Scala is very brightly lit. |

Haven’t actually been in the couples room, what’s it like? The dungeon was enough for me haha |

We’ve only ever done TG Edinburgh and have been regulars there for 15+ years, where no play is allowed, although Mrs d may have bent the rules a couple of times.
Would love to experience a proper one sometime. |
