Why don't clubs state the average numbers expected ?

As the title asks, why dont clubs state their average attendance ?

I am fed up of hearing how busy clubs are and then either myself or other people off this site turning up, paying their entrance fee and finding that myself and my FB have just doubled the numbers there.

I know numbers do fluctuate but surely they must know roughly how many people will be there on Saturday night or why would they stay open !!

This is another reason why admin should limit the amount of reviews a profile can leave on a particular club because you have regulars reviewing the same club week in week out telling people like yourself that even though they left 5 hours early they still could not find a parking place as it was that busy, people camping out to ensure their place with queues so long the likes of which have not been seen since the launch of the iphone 5.

If Admin ever gets around to sorting this then the club review section will be a lot more honest something that in a perfect world would be mandatory by default.

If a poor club keeps stum about numbers then they may have to close if they dont keep stum then they will surely have to.

eureakas does not hide numbers quite the opposite, they post average number attendancys on their website , and there not far from the truth,

To be honest we know a few club owners and they really do not know how many people are going to turn up, unless it is a big event where everything is pre booked I think it is impossible to tell.

I agree, getting a real 'expected numbers' is very difficult.

I am hoping once the weather warms up to be out more, and hope others will too.

Although it is true the numbers can vary from week to week any business must know what the rough numbers are going to be otherwise we wouldn't be in business

As the poster above mentioned we do publicise the numbers on average that we have attend our club and sometimes we are under but in general we under estimate.

Also keep look out for posts in forums, gives you idea who's going when see people commenting saying they will be there
